  1. there will be a wire already in the ecu slot. basicly i just cut it open and connect the orange wire to it.. so i left it in the ecu slot and just trace it back abit they cut the insulation off and join it that way if you get me
  2. umm the hks gt-rs is rated at 400hp (dont know where you got 500 from) mate has one on his rb25det s2 r33 making 350rwhp @ 16psi

  4. - yeah that correct, thats the stock gtr ecu pin layout.. basicly fine the wirer in the loom which goes to that pinout and connect it to that -hmm not sure why the red wire is spliced into 2 maybe chop that off. i jsut connected mine to the power wired that goes to my deck

Give Cowley Smash Repairs a call.. talk to Brett 9350 5069, tell him michael with the r33 sent you here is a couple of photos of what my nismo frontbar looked like when i gave it to them and when it was all finish it looked like this there was over 3 full days of work in just my frontbar, they are the only person i trust doing fiberglass work. They also got a frontbar which was to suit a gtr to fit a gtst Thanks Michael

  14. i was running 0.8bar which is about 12psi, i was running potenza G3 (street tyres). 13.8 was very easily done... if i had more runs im sure i could have got a better time, im not 100% of how much hp i was running but i would est at around 200 hp as i was stillrunning stock dump pipe... also i had my coilover setup on the hardest setting and didnt have time to change them to the sofest setting. With the mods you have listen i would est a 12second 1/4mile.. again it depends how well you can drive im sure with 300 to 350rwhp you could achived a low 12 or a high 11's im not sure if option 9 is need, as lot of rb25 are running between 300-350rwhp on stock engines.. thou the cams would help bring the turbo on boost quicker also do ecu before injectors as you cant run aftermarket injectors without an aftermarket ecu. Bov isnt needed but if your going to run around the 300hp mark i would say upgrade to stock gtr bov, but for now i say dont change it,as i found the car was quicker which the stock bov compare to an aftermarket atmo bov, as it made the car run alot richer (but if you have an aftermarket ecu this program can be fix very easy) ohh and if you dont have any sort of aftermarket shock/springs i would look at upgrading them aswell, as no point having power if your car cant handle good (i found my coilovers to be one of the best mods ive done to date increase the cars handle charactised by a huge amount) hope that helps p.s if ur wondering where my post went i fit delete when i was tring to edit it hehe p.s im guessing your from wa if your looking at the xspeed website yeah?

  16. the only problem i can see is one side will have a longer exhuast than the other and it MAY casue problems but im not pro so dont trust anything i say heheh
  17. hey mitchy... i know apexi make a twin n1 exhuast system (or did make).. both tips come out of the same side... and i know other jap brands make a similar system to the n1. Only seen a twin setup like the pic u posted on a gtr
  18. ahahha... you drop your car off. normaly pay a despoit. then when the car is ready you pay in full or else they keep your car till you can pay
  19. awsome mitchy brett is a top dude they brought my nismo frontbar back from the dead (almost 3whole days of work on it)
  20. i 100% recommened Cowley smash also... they did almost a complete resprat of my car and it come out awsome, top work as masters said cant fault it at all

  22. miss the point if a shaft is set to move/spin in X direction, and there is a force actting on it in Y direction. there will be stress put onto the shaft as it trys to overcome the force in Y direction. as the shaft will always want to move in the X direction ps if im not right jump right in paul
  23. but direction of spin is what is in question... yes a turbo is ment to spin in x direction and z speed but if u have a force in y direction at u speed/force it will cause an unbalance in the turbo itself resulting on possible damage.... well thats what i grather from what paul was saying
  24. thanks for the input paul and bogcock im starting to understand why people see it as a bad thing... i think for the time being i will reconnect my atmo bov and look at investing in a set of stock gtr bovs. would it be best to run both or will it be fine with just one?
