i find that auto is most of the time faster, i drive an man, and when racing faster skyline than myself, i will almost beat them cuz they short-shift (i dont shift untill i hit 7000,7100 if it doesnt hit limiter im not tring ) soo i guess it really depends on the driver and how good/fast he can shift but i would say 70% of the time the auto will come out in front

What suspension, would you requirment for r33?

Hey, We all saw what happen in the gav thread, now tj was ban due to that thread. i would just like to ask the mods why and have everyone else know why also. i am tring to be a neurtal party but if tj was ban and the other party which was also involed was not ban, i do not see how this can be fair at all. so SK, if i was to do it on my fairly stock rb25? the gains would be almost zero? if i dont lose any power, responds i will still do it as i want the piping shorter

then Sydneykid, why is it uses on the blitz r34 drift car? and what is the problem putting it on a rb25? i really would like to know, as i have the chance to buy the plenum very soon and if it isnt going to work well on the rb25 there is no point me getting it

Brett, it was a stock gtr plenum, i have been told and read many times that the responds that the gtr plenum is second to none

Brett, the gtr plenum was on an r34 gt-t 4dr (if u watch d1, it is the blitz r34 4dr, driven by Ken Nomura) i just did abit of seraching and found that a plate or spacer would be needed to be made to fit inbetween the plenum and the rb25 head. i have contact someone in perth which does ic piping and ask him if he could possable do it, i will get back to you once i have got my reply. also i read that the gtr fuel rail, will fit also pefrectly?

also, if i pick up a gtr fuel rail, how hard would it be to make it fit with the plenum? would it need moding

hey, I recently pick myself up a I/C, now im getting around to do the piping sometime this week. now after reading how good the gtr plenum is and seeing one on a neo rb25, i was wondering does anyone know anyone in australia (or perth) that would be able to make up an adoptor plate to suit an r33 rb25? thanks michael

JiMiH, the r33 which appeared in HPI, from sauwa. i talk to him aboout his nos system at drag-combat and he couldnt run it with his stock ecu, he had to wait till he got his mines ecu back

MirKz, here are the pricers i was given about 1year/ 1.5year ago Nos system (everything i need, installed) from 50 to 100 to 150hp shots $1000 ECU wolf $1400 now if pfc will run nos ur looking at $1000 for it plus say $400 for tuning

ohh yeah and with nos u need some sort of ecu, i know wolf can do nos but not sure about pfc

MirKz, i was once into nos as i through it was cheap hp, if you look at the nos website they have different setup for different power lvls, i belived anything over 300hp they requirment you run forged internals. i belived rev210, uses it in his car, and i think it was something like 100shot and he had good results also

ohh and if u got a hks ssq bov, there is a screw on the side of it, if u turn it in and rev the car (put ur ear near the filter and u will hear a flutter noise in it, i hear that sound isnt good thou )
