hey dude good to hear you thinking about it and not jumping in to it. im 18 and at tafe (doing my 1st year) i own an r33 skyline and currenetly working part time and not making that much money (lucky to make $200 a week) and its really hard to drive my skyline everday (i sold it to my dad a few weeks back and buying myself a cheaper car) insruacen is the biggest cost if ur young full over is like $4100 at the age 17, and if u have been insuranced for 1 year is around $2300 a year. fuel is about $50 a week due to the fact if u run a turbo import u should uses BP 98 only (which is always $1 or higher a Litre) then u got to put away money for serives (which are like every 5000km and about $100-$150) then u got the little things that happen out of the blue (like for example i was driving and blow my oil line to the turbo wouldnt really happen to a stock car but mine had been change etc and that cost me around $300 or so to fix) Imports/Turbo cars are alot of money, im going to swap to an n/a r32 or s13 type car now and it should bring down the cost of fuel/ and daily cost by alot also with importing a 15yr car (at the moment the law hasnt change but alot of people think it will soon)your looking at a max of $2000 for compliance, you could get an s13 or 180sx for under 6k-8k check out www.j-spec.com.au/list and if u need anything else just ask im more than happy to help

i wish i could afford a v35 coupe i love them now and the power that n/a engine produces is awsome go the kit that replacese the stock grill, it looks very mean with that open style one

this is normal and most of the time it will be alittle flame inside ur exhuast, but if u get very loud ones its a big flame for sure

umm wtf! even when i fill up 3/4 of the tank it only cost me around $40/$50 with BP 98

i will take the front 2, if anyone wants the back 2

Depends how bad the pinging is will results in how bad ur engine is damage. my car has been soo called "pinging" for about 2-3months and car still runs 100%

"stay in school" easyer to get into tafe, -> able to do higher courses at tafe etc etc i just finish yr12, if u drop out or going to miss out of a heap of fun trust me school rocks

i would say change or have the rom reprogramed. That will be holding u back afar bit aswell, PFC is cheap cost you $1100 - $1200 + tuning

what boost are u running? full boost at 5000rpm sounds like the turbo would be pretty high rated :S -guess saying that i guess it would be rate around the 400-500hp mark

Waldo, do u have any info on the turbos? like wat they are rated at etc etc?

i would ditch the tune rom unless you know someone that can tune it near you and get urself a pfc or something similar

i have the same setup as krzysiu, i havent install the cooler yet but will do this weekend ohh yeah and atip on the blizt design for piping, i heard its not good for the air to do a full 90 degress bend but could be wrong

600hp, in perth we only got 1 dyno which is awd dyno makes it hard
