  1. i would suggest before you buy one, you test sit in it, if you can. depending on how you are built, will be a major factor in how comfortable the seat is. I can tell you getting in and out of the car will be alot more uncomfortable. also for longer driving im told they are uncomfortable also. Bride offer a very high end reclinable seat which is around $2000 -$2500 its meant to be the best of both worlds in terms of fix back and reclinable. here some info on it: ( GIAS SPORT, STRADIA SPORT )
  2. depending what kit you buy, will determine how easy or hard the conversation becomes. the BEE-R kit cost alot but comes with pretty much everything you need. if you just buy the conversation fenders then there is alot of work involved good luck
  3. im tring to download the update but it doesnt work. try the HTTP method, it does nothing just say downloading update.... try the p2p method too and after 10mins i gave up because it havnt connect to anyone

  5. what caliper and disc are you running? as i am running endless pad and havn't had any issue with cracking yet
  6. buy online you will save $$$ also in my personal opionion, i would stay away from CHINA intercooler kits, if you have the cash go something like t a greddy m-spec kit (around $600-$700) or vspl ($1200). try these website too www.nengun.com www.greenline.jp
  7. we just placed it in, didnt bolt it to anything. it will slip in behide the plastic bits of the dash (if you get what i mean) the reason i didn't think it looked any good was because the gauges dont sit flush. plus Chi used the cheap autometer gauges too which i think like crap in my opinion. i will pm chi and get him to post a pic up for you
  8. im pretty sure it fits. if i remember right i fitted one to Chi car on here, hopfully he can post up a pic of what it looked like (i personally didnt like how it looked)

  13. its very easy for example meet 10pm , leave 10:30pm meet point 1: city west meet point 2: Morley galleria meet point 3: Joondalup shops etc etc.... thats for more of a freeway running type cruise, if its raining stay away from hills. finish exams , so see if i get some free time i see waht i can do, no promises
  14. if your comment is directed to me. then yes my comments are useless but i what i was tring to do is point out that "skyline_man" comments are also useless
  15. lol! the f430 gearbox is on par with the gtr. i personally think the F430 Scuderia gearbox is better than the gtr but i havn't driven a f430 or a gtr for that matter...
  16. pending time and sor/nor i may come down normally dont cruise ... but we will see
  17. you do know that the T04Z comes in a range of rear housing. you would easily make good power and responds with the 63T A/R0.61 on a 3L
  18. total agree. Even though drifting is on the other scale compare to grip racing, i do notice that if i miss a practices the next time im on the track i suck badly and need some extra time to get back into it correctly. practices makes perfect
  19. thankyou for your input i have been looking into the nolimits event and they are great price for what they offer
  20. thanks for clearing that up my aim is for door to door racing but i want to get my skill up 1st so want to aim for min. 1 to 2 seasons of timed events 1st
  21. i through you couldn't enter imports in the improved production class ? (e,g something like an r33)
  22. Awesome topic Mark, i have be spending the last 2 years getting my car ready for full time motorsport work. and in the last 6months i have been looking at what events i could enter etc. I have one basic rule i want the car to stay street rego. I try to aim for this due to the fact that events like dutton rally and other tarmac rallies required the car to have a street rego. I have wascc club membership ($250 a year) and cams level 2 speed ($80 a year). at the moment i only enter into drift events but i would like to move my focuses to more grip events. I ideally would like to enter the "Improved Production" class, as its pretty open class which allows mods and has a control tyre BUT the car needs to be "mass produced and commercially available in Australia" which means my skyline is out So the only other class i could enter is the "Sport Car" Class which is extremely open with no control tyre, it means i would have to be racing against GT3 and similar high performances cars. The next option is sprints and hillclimbs which have classes depending on the type of car you run. Which is a pretty good starting topic and my aim is to enter every event for one year and see how the car holds up and how rank compare to other cars. events like dutton rally are good events but the cost is pretty high (i think its $2,000) let us know how you go
  23. drifting is pretty much on par to real life... have u try to drift a 500hp 1200kg r34 skyline? it is far from an easy task... i find drifting my r33 skyline with 350hp and 1450kg a challenge in real life (im talking about at the track) and i have alot of suspension work. the whiplash as u say its not exaggerated... if you dont not have the correct line and tring to get to much angle or reach full lock the car will snap back violently. i have yet to try and drift with a wheel yet but i think with practices it can be done there alot of clips on youtube drifting in gt5:p with a wheel so it is very possible
  24. i'm not sure were you could buy it from, my guess would be nissan but i say the price well be very over-priced (nissan quote me $439 for my globe) if you wanted a quick fix you could always buy one of those china spec HID ballast and use that but that would required you to cut the wires and it could become messy
