  1. 1200ks, took me 10.5hrs in the gemini fully loaded with all my work gear and my luggage. A fair effort I though when you do the maths...... and the includes stops! Nice place to holiday. Most of the whitsunday island cruises leave from shute harbour just down the road, so if you want to do those things Arlie is a must.
  2. Yeah, will be hitting the pub soon. Put in my half day! One thing here definately has is a huge night life, always something on. And I have never seen so many backpackers!
  3. Note the very tuff Gemini!
  4. Got a pic from work, hard to resize with no software! You don't get a better view than this on a construction site.
  5. Depends what you mean by scenery . . . hehe. Nah, it pretty good. Damn hot though!
  6. afternoon guys....
  7. hey hey, cheers guys. Long time no see. Internet cafes are not cool. The price I have to pay for working up at Arlie Beach I suppose. hehe.
  8. Nah, not really. Just some camber correction at the rear, tunes, tint. Might do the exhaust later but the stock one off the GTR doesn't sound too bad and gave it a bit more go. Might do a bigger radiator and oil cooler, bit paranoid about the heat up here and I like to take the cars on the track every now and then.
  9. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=58590 Just posted some pics that I took while I was back in Brisbane over the weekend. The sedan got painted the week before and I was so keen to have a look, has turned out well. Sedans are cool!
  10. Nearly finished the R33 series II sedan project, wondering what the general feelings on the car are, being something a little different from the usual 33 coupes getting around. Specs are:- 96 GTST Type M Sedan King Springs Bilstein Shocks DBA 4000 series slotted rotors front and rear Cusco Caster Rods, Front strut brace Custom Oil Catch Can Stock GTR exhaust R33 GTR Rims Apexi TT Pretty stock, but this car is really growing on me, I like the shape. Just gotta fit the stereo and give it a bit of tint. It was never meant to be anything wild. Just something nice to drive around as the GTR can be a bit much to drive full time.
  11. Good luck with it James......and congrates to all the other exec. Sorry I couldn't be there myself, am outa town working atm. Tough life up here at Arlie Beach.....
  12. Sold mine during the week, there are a couple of buyers out there..... Good luck!
  13. Cheers guys, was a great car....but it was time to move on. I did let him know all about SAU and the MSC III. He said he may try and come along. And Knore it was less than A, hard to sell GTSTs now, In the 1.5 months I seriously had it up for sale I only had 2 people actually come and look at it, the 2nd bought it. Both said it was one of the cleanest they had seen, so I was lucky I guess.
  14. Sold the trusty steed today. Was a great car and after 3 years of trouble free ownership I am a little sad to see it go, I am sure the new owner will have lots of fun in it. It has been sold locally so it may still be spotted from time to time. A minute silence for one of the family has left...........
  15. hmmmm, having the same problem dude. Had mine up for sale for a bit now at the same price and its hard to get any interest at all. Too many R33 GTST getting around these days unfortunately. They seem to be worth nothing, I know whoever buys my car is getting a damn strong vehicle for next to nothing, compared to what I paid for it.......
  16. Yeah, got both my cars complied down the Coast. If you need any details or info drop us a PM Gordon. I found this guy good to deal with, other people have had different experiences though, but personally I found him upfront and easy going.
  17. I have to agree, I got TSR to re-con my coilovers on the GTR and they were fantastic, but since it has changed hands I have dealt with them a couple of times and got nothing but trouble and attitude. My advise is, give it a go, the money you spend on labour is much better spent on tools. I have had 3 different workshops work on the GTR and ALL of them have managed to leave their mark on the car. BUTCHERS! Not worth the hassel unless it really is a job that is too difficult. Shocks on skylines are a sinch. 3 bolts and the whole lot falls out. If I remember correctly you need, jack, stands, 14mm &17mm spanners/sockets, spring compressors. Too easy.
  18. That sounds nasty Ben. Hope it is all back up and running soon without too much damage to the hip pocket.
  19. Saw twoquik today on Ipswich Rd Moorooka. If you saw anything funny about the R SSSSSHHHHHHH. It will be back to normal soon..hehe.
  20. Glad to see everyones dealing have been good. My Apexi coilovers still feel great and that is 8 months ago now and nearly 10000ks. Although I think the service has dropped a little since they changed hands but still not bad.
