  1. Yeah, I see the same one nearly everyday. Its always parked next to the new Red Rooster, anyone from here?
  2. Roadworthy car, valid license(?), skill is optional. Mt cotton is the location, off Mt cotton road, not sure if mt cotton is its own suburb or not. Its only 10 mins off the hwy going off at the exit just after the Logan hyperdome if that helps.
  3. Night people, time to retire to the TV. Have a good cruise tomorrow, still spewing I can't go, I will be complaining all night.
  4. Be a good way for everyone to test out there mods.
  5. I reckon we could nearly replace a Thurs cruise with a Wed test'n'tune once a month or once every 2 months. What do you guys think?
  6. Only 3 i will talk about *hides yellow gemini panel van from view*
  7. Try now, should be fixed
  8. Yeah, there is a couple of pics in my gallery (link in my sig.) Pretty stock, but still quick enough to beat most small cars, not bad for 30+yr old technology. Nothing is more fun to chuck around the corners than the mini. Very forgiving, very quick closest thing to a go-kart.
  9. Might take it to the next track day at Morgan park. QR is to open to have fun in the mini.
  10. Hey Nick, I hear the dinner was a raging success on Thursday. sorry I couldn't be there. Two nights out was a bit to much for my working week.
  11. Its a 72 GT Clubman. Apparently 1 of only 1000 produced in Australia. All original and has had a complete ground up rebuild. Even one a couple of show'n'shine trophies. If you are a financial member of a club and they can verify your car is what you say it is, and is over 30 yrs old you can qualify for this concessional rego. Its fairly restricted though, but fine for what I need.
  12. Hey, the mini rocks! :headspin:
  13. I organised "special interest' rego for the mini today. Only costs about $250 for 12 months. Sweet. I might keep it after all.
  14. Hello people, what's happening?
  15. Oh well, that would be the end of that then. Would have been nice.
  16. Yeah very busy around here and the Gold Coast. Has been for the last two years. Good luck with the move and job, and I shall see you at one of the cruises!
  17. Jones, Flint and Pike huh. They are one of the bigger firms in the Brisbane area. Have come across them in a couple of developements as they were the consulting surveyors there. From memory they were pretty easy to deal with, its been a while though. I like the way they mark their pegs with a little JFOP symbol (replace 'O' with a crosshair symbol). Its very nice, very stylish.
  18. Thanks. Being a Engineering Surveyor, I have more to do with the construction side of things (mainly sub-divisions), not so much design. Being from Townsville, ever come across a John Kuskopf? He has a small architect firm there.
  19. Excellent, we don't have many R32 GTRs that consistantly come out to the cruises. I wouldn't trust anyone but Gavin either, he is a champion.
  20. Good luck with the move. Were mostly a pretty friendly bunch up here. Mostly.
  21. Yes they are a lot cheaper than that in a 17in tyre.
  22. Haven't heard anything like that in QLD yet. Can't be too far away I suppose, my mini might be retireing to the garage for a while again. Hate using additives, it will be so annoying having to remember to add the valve-master for every fill up.
  23. I ran a [email protected] with my R33 GTST with only a pod filter, different muffler on the back of stock exhaust (diff-back), 235/45 R17, Camber/caster adj, Bilstein shocks. I managed [email protected] with my R33 GTR with only 265/35/R18s being the only variation from stock, done only 2.5 weeks after getting the car from compliance.
