What condition are the rims in?

I reliably get 500Ks to a tank, running slightly lean at top end. I may or may not have had over power/wieght cars 2 out of 3 years on Ps. I regularly go down to and through the Knox area. Just paid 25% less on my license renewal because I have never lost a point. I'll be off my Ps in Jan and the car is getting tickled to around 250rwkw about the same time.

Get a GTS-T most cops don't know their arse from their elbow when it comes to grey imports or cars in general. Drive sensibly and they'll never have reason to look closely at your car. Then again you want the GTS-T to 'kill my mates commodores' so fines and loss of license is probably in your future no matter what you drive.

Personally I think a bleed valve is a waste of time. Get a manual boost controller or a complete EBC. You can get a manual boost controller that shouldn't spike and hold boost well for around $30. The JustJap FMIC are pretty good for $345. I got the same kit with a tube and fin instead of bar and plate core.

Get a full exhaust that's not too loud, shift kit the auto and then see where you want to go from there. You should probably set out a power goal and work towards that either in stages or save to do it all at once. Personally I am chasing about 250rwkw which I will hopefully achieve in the next month or so with the parts that I have accumulated and on order. I also have a R33 GTS-T auto (series 1.5). Remember any money you spend on it is gone and as long as you are ok with that start shoveling the money into the pit.

I'm not scared off by this at all I'm just getting a pair instead of the EX gear only. For the price they are might as well go for the pair anyway.

If the timing is the only issue maybe just ask HKS why the F-CON systems disable it As you know they are a piggyback system yet actively disable this oh so important feature. I'll find out soon enough when I get my PFC.

Does the BOV have the strong or standard spring? Also does it need an adaptor to fit to a standard pipe? If so does it come with it?

You said there was no such thing as an auto trans computer in the R33. This is wrong. If you unplug the trans comp the box goes into limp home mode and only has 3rd. So does it have one or not? Lets face it, if Apexi called it a feature for auto cars like HKS do there would be nothing to suggest not to use a PFC in an auto car except perhaps the R34s which I believe have the auto computer in the main ecu not as a seperate unit but I could be wrong.

Paul if that was the case as soon as a stand alone ECU was plugged in you would only get 3rd out of the auto it doesn't just guess where to shift.

I have always read that it's the other way around and that the IN makes no difference when adjusted.

Heh I was looking at an F-CON until I tried that.

The variation in price in similar sized/expected power turbos is usually the bearing type. Some of the bb style rebuilds are close to the cost of a new turbo although you end up with less installation issues and have no parts to buy/modify. To the uneducated I'd almost sound like I knew what I was going on about. I'm going with a Slide max oversize and see how that goes. Pretty much the same list of mods as most so far. I have a set of JECS 550cc injectors to go in. Sounds like I'll need a new radiator as well.
