  4. it will fit but it will hang out cos the stock wheel specs are as below... ECR34: 7.5jjx17+40 all around BNR34: 9jjx18+30 all around just need a little body work and should fit fine....
  5. i got a kakimoto cannon that came with the car and its got a silencer. just get a silencer so you can drive normally and not get pulled over but take the silencer out on tracks... thats what i do...
  6. ok im part of the 8 teams as well.... i will be there at AHG this sunday so look out for the R32 4dr... i shall go around and greet everyone! hahahaha cheers masahiro
  7. oh no.... on that weekend i am volunteering for Targa WA!!! damn would have loved to be in it..... oh well there is next time... should be there for the Sept drift comp tho... great work! masahiro
  8. i got 215/45/17 all around on both 8' and 9' but as i said before the rear tyres are stretched out and i keep hitting the rims on curbs... cos the rim protector is stretched so if you dont want this to happen go for 225 or 235 at the rear and 215 should be fine on the fronts... masahiro
  9. i just took out both sides of the carpet bits on my car so the body is showing on the sides but the bottom still has the carpet... i feel it looks ok...
  10. interesting.... never knew such car existed... learn something new everyday...
  11. yeah as far as i can remember its been red at night and white in day.... when you get the fine what you can do is go check the photo to see if it was you... doesnt do much but its kind of fun seeing yourself or the car...
  12. well its good to see the passion here but i get the general feeling that i get is a lot of people are cheap skates when it actually comes to supporting such events. everyone complains about how much it costs, how bad the organisation was, etc. as jeff said it needs time. i guess not having the right venue does make things even harder and the first event needs to come off with a good vibe or the next event will be even harder to organise. i am fully supportive of it and i too feel that its about time. so if anyone needs a graphic designer to do some adverts, tickets, flyers/posters,etc do let me know. i will volunteer my services so it becomes a good start for drifting in WA. mail me if you need my services and i am willing to help when needed. btw is there like an organisation here in WA? like drift australia? cheers masahiro [email protected]
  13. if want take a pic of the sticker in hi res and post it up here, i can read it to see what it says. this can clear confusion but yeah if the price was too good to be true then reality is it probably was too good to be true... masahiro
  14. try searching the forum... it may have been covered before... if no luck just scan the instructions and i will translate it for you... e mail me if you want... masahiro [email protected]
  15. cheers memph... its funny you mention the strip cos thats one of the reasons i got my car! hahaha i always want to open my windows in the rain... its a nice sleeper... anyhow my set up is by far the safest way and very legal so i recommend to anyone... and i think its not really the width that matters more the offset cos you can have 7.5 width but still manage to stick it out if the offset is in the negatives... also i think your mates offset must be less than +35 if it stuck out more... the less the number the more it sticks out... look at merlins rims, the offset is negative or close to it.... go with this set up and if you get bored then rolled the guards...
  16. if you're interested maybe able to get new gold P1s for less than Access. Let me know if you are interested by e mail. masahiro [email protected]
  17. i know a guy selling some... if you're interested let me know...
  18. ok memph here are the pics of my car... sorry i only have the auction pics in japan but you will get the idea... this offset and size is pretty much the most you want to go without any guard modification as when i look from the top of the rear guards it is pretty much in line with the rims (as my tire is stretched on it the rim is the widest part). though the front can be a little bit wider with less offset (+25?)... have a look and decide for yourself.... http://www.imports101.com.au/rides.php?id=67 if you want a better picture i can send them by e mail hey. hope this helped masahiro
  19. well i understand that you all had different experiences and being a foreigner in a country will always cause alienation. no matter how aussie i am i still dont look like a caucasian australian and people will look at me that way too. so i do understand. racism does exist in japan but not in a vocal way rather in a hidden way as expressed by rezz and i too hate that about japanese culture, and yes i agree with you streeter i am sure if some one was being attacked most ppl will just walk past and look the other way in japan (its sad but true). well i know you guys all do the right thing and feel sorry if you had bad experiences caused by a japanese person. masahiro

    I lost my job!

sorry to hear the terrible cut BUT i hope in few years time you can look back and see it as a blessing and by the thread you got something up your sleeves so should be fun! give me a yell when you are in perth... should go for a cruise or something with the SAU boys.... it will be great if someone else can look after this section.... anyone over there??? masahiro
  21. i'd be interested in cf GTR bumper, bonnet, boot and possibly pods for gauges... all for R32 gtst 4 dr...
  22. akeenan: yeah it is unfortunate and yes it could be that i am japanese and had not experienced what you have experienced.... having said that im not sure why so many things get stolen from you guys??? and the bell on your bike is ridiculous?!?!?! that is low by any human beings standard.... by no means i am attacking you guys to prove myself but it is from my observation from where i lived and heard.... dunno maybe kansai can be more rowdy? streeter: i can not say if the ppl who attacked you were japanese or not, or foreigners that got beaten up in a club was done by japanese or other asians and for what reason. i am not saying all japanese ppl are good either and yes there are yakuza and thugs in japan too. also its f**ked up you got attacked by some dude with a pole but crazy ppl are everywhere... if i was beaten up in australia i will not know if the person who beat me was english, scottish, american, swedish, canadian or french or any other caucasian race, but i will say i was beaten up by an australian person because i am in australia unless the person looked asian, middle eastern, african, etc so just cos the person looked japanese doesnt say much. i think this can go forever and you are entitled to your opinions so i will leave it at that. im not here to make arguements and so forth. people are people and maybe japan is not as nice of a place as it used to be.... just as australia is getting more dangerous.... hope any more bad sh!t happens to you guys while your stay... masahiro
  23. well it is both, abbreviation as well as derogatory. personally i hate it no matter how nice you say it. there is also an N word for japanese ppl but its straight up racist so no one says it, also from the war days. its short for Nippon for those who have no clue. now for the abbreviation it may sound alright to you cos you are not the one listening to it and it is personal so i will respect that but i suggest if you can be bothered not to use it. it is a bad habit, its not exactly an excuse... as for being derogatory it is questionable as it is in the context as mentioned in the other thread. let me give you an example of it: "Oh you aussies cant do anything right, us japanese can do it so much better and faster!" now this is pretty derogatory.... "Wow i love the aussie culture it is much more laid back and easy going than japanese culture!" now this is not at all.... it is in the tone and how you say it but on forums and in writing it is harder to see so better to put japanese in my opinion. also aussie was never used as derogatory term so it is not a good comparison. my solution is this and you will love it! just shorten it to J and call everything J eg: J cars, J culture, J food, J music, etc. it is much shorter and no one will get offended if not a little confused.... also japan shortened is not exactly JAP its JPN... i say do what you feel is right but dont be lazy and give ppl the wrong impression... btw you seem to be able to write abbreviation ok but not japanese??? funny that... masahiro
