cool, i will most likely pop by and check it out... need tint for summer... do you do mirror tint?
  5. you can also go to cypher or wheelspin or works if youre SOR... just ring around the usual shops... if up north maybe hyperdrive?
  6. realistically its the rails that make the seats go forward or not... if you get bride or recaro rails suited for your car then it will go forward or otherwise you can get a custom ones made from your original rails... either way it should go forward and back...
  7. yeah cruise sounds fun... will be great to finally meet you rezz...
  8. sometimes its who you know not where you are.... and yeah research is always good...
  9. i cant see why it will be that much different as currency difference has not much bearing on parts which is not originated from say thailand or malaysia. also the demand wont be there so the chances are parts will be same or more expensive without comprehensive warranty... but i have heard singapore is cheaper than australia... or perth rather...
  10. pics dont work mate... and you in japan or oz?
  11. usually they cover the bits that leak under constant use like brake master cylinder, clutch thingy, power steering, etc so the fluid doesnt make a mess in the engine bay... the reason is as mentioned above when a car is taken for a drift/track racing/motorkhana, etc these fluids leak out so the gloves absorbs the leakage really... hopefully its not covering any damage...
  12. well i am sure demisters dont need to be warmed up as my R32 one works when i press it even on a sunny day or on cold mornings... better take it to an auto electrician or maybe check your fuse? if its got one.... the light should come on regardless of the weather...
  13. hey dude, pm kssilvia, i think he was after GTR front bar...
  14. well the guards will accomodate 17x8 at front and 17x9 at rear but the important thing is also the offset as it determines how far the wheel will sit from the hub. as a reference best fitting on R32 GTSt is 17x8 +28 and 17x9 +35 as it is on my car and is pretty much on the edge. there is another thread about this in the suspension tech section. hope this helps masahiro

  17. just for a reference contrary to common belief R32 is not much lighter than R33 as listed below... 40kg is not noticable anyways... R32 GTR Vspec: 1500kg curb weight R33 GTR Vspec: 1540kg curb weight

that turf rivalry thing is funny! hahahaha i dont think there are any turf rivalry between races in australia cos there are way too many foreigners though what i do see in the asian community is that there are always the "token" australian caucasian with heaps of asian friends. there seem to be one in every group... i think these people have somewhat of a rivalry or know of each others presence... like how many asians do you know or can you speak an asian language? i think its in the same spirit of things... must be an asian/caucasian mix???
  22. agree with duncan... first thing is take your car to the limit by fully doing up the suspension and get good tyres... power is only good if you can handle it... on the track and hill climbs you need skills more than power... i have seen some NA cars catch up to turbo cars on track because of driver's skills and tight small corners... no matter how fast you can take the straights smaller cars can just catch up on the corners... as a beginner theres no need to worry too much about low end torque etc cos chances are you are not even driving the car properly to make a difference... practise will make you go fast around the track... drive a car you can handle... drive stock and when you feel the limits upgrade suspension and when you feel the limits here make other mods to improve...
  23. no probs... good luck with the search...
  24. i agree with all of the above... i think initial D maybe the culprit in this one. my opinion is as below, 1. Touge. GTR and FD are not suited so dont waste money on these. you will be spending way too much money on petrol, brakes, tyres for touge. For sharp corners in the mountains FF will do the job as Beer Baron said but i would go either civic or integra as there are better mod parts for these chasis. you can just even go EF or EG and put B16A and it will be a pocket rocket and put a decent suspension and it should do the job. also 15' tyres are cheap so you can run every night if you want to. lighter cars are better downhill cos there are less strain on the brakes and FF is good cos you wont spin so easily and really chuck the car into the corner... unless you are takumi... 2. tracks. depends on what kind of track it is as well but GTR and FD are not suited either in my opinion. if you set up the EF then it might be ok on track as well or DC should do the job as well. go S13 if you think you might wanna drift here and there... smaller tracks are better with smaller cars that do not loose its speed all around the track then high power cars which need to slow down heaps on many corners. thats my 4c...
