yep just finished hartly estate today! buggered as anything.... and did wells glover yesterday... oh i was in the chicane team took some pics but looks a bit blur... will post them up once it gets uploaded on my computer...

mums got a volvo v40, sister have my old civic EF, other sis got charade...

i can only tell you places in tokyo/yokohama area... if you are shinagawa go check out Roppongi Hills... some posh posh place, but nice... like shopping wise... electronic central is basically akihabara... good for a wonder and check out gadgets and what not... dunno if the price is good? china town in yokohama is the biggest in japan... i know you must be thinking why go china town in japan? but its a huge huge place and the food is pretty good i heard but a lot of hit and miss so go to a shop with lots of ppl lining up.... take TOYOKO line to yokohama but stay on that line for a few more stops.... or get off Minato Mirai for some more shopping... Odaiba is kinda fun too.... more shopping and go on the ferris wheel if you got time.... also got a toyota museum thingy there (if its still there) which is kind of fun to look around cos its free.... Shibuya/harajuku.... its the city gwen estefani sings about in many new songs! shopping central for younger kids... also if you are into clothes then go check out Ura Hara (basically back alleys of Harajuku) for some trendy local and international labels.... also lots of clubs and stuff.... ppl everywhere 24/7 and on weekends you can check out the wierd local boys and girls get dressed up! hahahahaha Tokyo tower.... i think it costs like $20 or so to get up there... but is a good overall view of tokyo... good touristy thing to do i guess.... go when the sky is clear so you can see mount fuji on the horizon! also if you go here before or after going to many places you can see them from the tower (well some of them).... Asakusa is the tourist mecca should i say.... its got temples and old school buildings and stuff... BUT if you are going to kyoto then maybe dont bother cos you will get cultured in Kyoto..... ok thats all i can think of right now.... but i guess a good thing to do is look in Lonely Planet or something as well... or ask the hotel ppl if you want cos where you are is pretty central ish so you are not far from most places.... also if you are in hiroshima go check out the atomic bomb memorial, my sister said it was pretty freaky.... look at options carefully and never judge from the surface of things.... i have learned in many cases grass is not always greener on the other side... like nizmo said money isnt everything... as you can get more pay but less enjoyment... also if they are renovating im sure it is for a reason... no company is gonna waste money unless its a govenment dept. maybe you can give some recruitment agency as they can help you look for jobs.... i think they only get a cut once you get a job so they will be keen to help you get a job you like... ontop of that look in a long run... do you have a future at your job? is there room to move up? if not get the F*** outta dodge and go for a better opportunity... sometimes taking the long way is the quickest way to sucess.... good luck! masahiro

check on imports101 cos i got mine(GTSt) there and they still have fair amount of GTSt and GTS4 coming in... but it will be a matter of time before it will slow down again....

i heard of people just cutting out plastic piping to swap with the rubber/tyres to make them more driftable or slide in this case really... i also dont think why they shouldnt drift straight out of the box...

i know what you are sayin dude cos mine is dull as well and its the projector type... i think these have the tendency to be a little inadequate (or is mine stuffed as well!?!?) as the S13 projector lights are dim as well.... i think nissan didnt design them too well though they look mean in the day time also yes the driving lights will turn off on high beam cos they are independent to the driving light so nothing to worry there...

ok my car is a GTSt but you get the idea.... my offset is +28 front 17x8, +35 rear 17x9 i think... so its reference for you...

hey rezz groceries can be bought at asian stores so its not too hard or if you want to pay premium for a daikon you can as well! hahahaha but most places sell like shiitake now (thanks to cooking shows) and some supermarkets have been highly influenced by asian cuisine... J R32: i personally have 3 friends in japan who are malaysian/chinese teaching english in osaka, tokyo and niigata so shouldnt be a problem being an asian but looking good always helps! hahahaha also one friend is in his 3rd year so there is hope... but yeah 1yr is the average tolerance hence the average contract term....

my word of advice is get a real kit.... there is a reason why cheap kits are cheap... i dont think factory people in taiwan or china have ever fitted a skyline let alone seen one...

mmmmm interesting topic this one.... nissan: stagea (with R34 face), hakosuka, skyline japan, C33 laurel, toyota: any Tourer Vs will do, Bb, honda: life or similar K people movers, suzuki: wagon R or similar K van things, or if all else fails i want a kick ass van with ridiculous dish, super blister fender and batman wings and a mural of totoro on it!

well basically i am just going to get numbers of ppl interested in helmets and everyone can let me know the model they r interested in and we can go from there.... so far i got about 5 ppl interested in various forums so the discount should be fair amount... im not a helmet guru so i cant answer any tech questions... im not getting only one brand of helmet... i am bunching up everyones helmet together from one shop.

ok basically this is how i am going to do it. 1. get interest from ppl 2. check on shops willing to do a deal 3. everyone gets notified of the shop 4. everyone go check helmets in their own time so ask as much questions to the shop dudes. 5. once everyone is happy with models etc. we go and buy together. stuie: please check what approval you require and choose a model suitable for your requirement.

dunno if this belongs here but if it doesnt would you please move it. thnx i am looking at getting a new helmet and figured it may work out cheaper if a whole bunch of us got them at a same time from the same shop... i am looking at HJC black bike helmet for $100 from a bike shop.... if anyone got other suggestions let me know let me know if any of you are interested... cheers masahiro
