  1. just look through the for sale sections and look at the market or go to importers to find out how much they are going for... i got mine from imports101.com but by the time you have the money GTSt will be long gone for 15yr old rule so looking locally maybe best... secondly its good idea to know what you want to do such as your idea of 1. looks first then 2. performance... also 15k will probably get you a car and some stereo bits... the rest will need to come later but maybe a better way is to get a car with say rims or sound system in it already to save you money... also beats driving a stock as rock car... on top of it dont use all the money on mods as you will surely have problems along the way so have enough savings for this... remember 17' or 18' tyres are not cheap and nor is petrol or a service... best you can do now is research and save as much money as possible... hope this helped... masahiro
  2. yeah my R32 4dr have the same problem but it seem to go away after a sunny day by itself and my car is parked outside a lot.... also as a side note i noticed that the moisture is in between the outside plastic and inside plastic so didnt bother to drill holes cos the moisture will not effect the globes and wiring.... so no danger really, only aesthetics
  3. can you specify the model? is it DB, DB RS, DB Chrono? also mech or elec? cheers masahiro
  4. yeah east perth are good as well.... i went through welshpool with imports101 so maybe they were used to their cars being registered... didnt give me any hassle what so ever... also my car is 1989 R32 GTSt 4dr so my info would apply to your case... and went through the pits only about 2 months or so ago... anymore questions let me know... masahiro
  5. hey mashrock, this is a quick one cos i been really busy lately.... sorry cant do a complete translation like for other people... goodies; trust 6spd dogged clutch mission F50 brembo kit driverside recaro veilside muffler N1 turbo N1 piston tomei cams aragosta coilover body stiffening parts (not specified) greddy radiator greddy oil cooler cusco LSD aftermarket rear wing other aftermarket parts so looks like a car with enough mods... anymore questions let me know.... masahiro
  6. Skyline model = R32 GTSt 4dr Wheel diameter = 17 Wheel width = 8(F) 9® Wheel offset = +28(F) +35® Tyre size = 215/45/17 stretched fit Modifications to fit = nothing...
  7. hey dude, i am able to get it for you from japan. do you want vertex? or any other one... mail is sent so reply me if interested... masahiro
  8. hey blacky, this is what i know of the pits in my recent experience... steering: mine went through with aftermarket personal wheel, but as others mentioned it depends on if the car is equipped with air bag one to start with and also will depend on if it is sevs/raws or 15yr compliance as sevs/raws need to be brought back to totally standard. also make sure the size is like 36mm or something so when they sit in it they are able to view all the gauges safely, not like 33mm where the actual steering wheel will get in the way of the view. pedals: take them off even if they have rubber cos its just a hassle to get stopped for it... gauges: need to be taken off i think from what i have seen especially if it is mechanical cos pits wont like the idea of fluids running through the car... turbo timer: mine went through with it fine, just keep the wiring neat and tidy. fog lights: these will need to be wired to your high beam as well so when you beam the high beam the fogs come on at the same time. they cant have an independent switch which will just turn on and off. intake: mine went through with the HKS mushroom so should not be a problem. mine is not mounted as well but didnt move around either. so if it moves around you might wanna put something to hold it down. engine bay: take any unnecessary crap out and clean it if you can. appearence does make a difference and they will judge the book by its cover. just as a side note, nothing should be flapping or looking like its gonna come off... use cable ties or screws to secure as much as you can. i went to welshpool and they were nice to me so maybe its a good one to go to... good luck! masahiro
  9. great! i look forward to that day... hahaha if the price is right i will be at your place every month or so... can you line up some deep dish SSR or Watanabe or Work or any other old school rims in 15" and tyres to go with it.... i get a feeling im the only one in perth who likes these kind of rims... i want my car to look like a kyusha or yanky style if you know what i mean....
  10. yeah cant seem to find decent rims and tyres for a good price here... im a deep dish kinda guy... and gettin from yahoo auction japan is still gonna cost lots to bring over here....

rezz: yeah luckily i had my pocket measuring tape on me! hahaha re2: oh well inspectors are only doing their job.... maybe you should get them to clean the tyre for you after marking it.... my car is pretty much stock engine wise and just got the usual exhaust, coilys, air filter and thats all... gonna slowly do it up.... hope i can see you next sau cruise or something!
  12. rezz: yeah we should walk around and patrol perth in our skylines! hahaha but seriously i think it is lack of education like young kids dont know better... like i hear kids sayin "nigg@" like its a normal word to call each other..../(>.<)\ someonestolecc: yeah i think J is better like J league and J music... you will never hear a japanese person say jap... unless we glorify it like african-americans....

funny thing happened today.... i was going to central tafe and i saw a nicely parked maroon R32 coupe and i thought "nice color, nice height, nice P1s......" "Prime Garage?!?!? wtf?" must have been your car re2.... nice ride! masahiro
  14. well as a japanese i have one thing to say to yall. if you thought it was deregotary can you do us japanese a favour and school/educate the next person who uses it and maybe it will change.... i guess a lot of australian businesses use it as an abreviation so there is nothing to stop them.... from off the top of my head i can only think of Japanese Motorsport who actually put it in full... the rest is Jap this Jap that.... i guess those businesses have no deep interest in japanese culture... masahiro
  15. no worries... post up another one if you need it translated... masahiro
  16. if it is for the R32 GTSt then either 2 door or 4 door should be pretty much the same cos the chasis will be the same... dunno about GTR though and also keep in mind you get what you pay for.... china made is china quality, locally made is not bad if they know what they are doing... its better to save money then get cheap parts...
  17. hey dude try these guys... if they cant help they will direct you in a good direction... zack at cypher industries www.cypherindustries.com.au les at wheelspin www.wheelspin.com.au steve at maytech [email protected] danny at imports101 www.imports101.com.au tell them masahiro recomended you.... also try these guys below speedworks www.speedworks.com.au x speed www.xspeed.com.au hope this helped... masahiro
  18. ok siaw i will put your idea into a more understandable way... what you want to do is put a 19 yr old young heart into a 90yr old tired body... the young heart will put stress on the rest of the body as all the other parts will not take it... then you are saying lets change the knee caps and ankles to 19yr olds as well... it will have problems and break later on... at the end of the day if it was easy and cheap why wouldnt everyone be driving RB26 GTSt? i think this is what everyone is trying to say... also if done half proper you will never be able to sell your car...
  19. great look forward to checking it out in person... when are you gonna leave japan? yeah nice rims will be good cos cant get crap all here in perth! plus stuff some tyres as well cos tyres are crappy here... masahiro
  20. here is the translation... if you need more info let me know. also there is no mention of the brand on the kit... masahiro

    Prime Garage

the website is kinda not too helpful cos of the lack of info and up dates but seems like a serious garage and the address is (direct translation) as below if this helps? f*kuoka ken (prefacture), kita kyushuu shi (city), ogura minami ku ( suburb?), arihara kita (this one is a guess cos im not the best at reading kanji... sorry) 3-3-5 well f*kuoka is pretty much big city in kyushu so hope its not a dodgey little garage.... if it makes you happy Uras/Monkey Magic is in the same prefacture.... masahiro

    Prime Garage

hey dude, dunno what type of info you are after but i found this site in f*kuoka prefacture so probably this could be the place.... www.prime-garage.com not much info on the sight but they say they have 20 years of experience in racing and they do servicing, body work, general tuning, race car maintenance, race car production, dress up cars, parts production/development/sales also they are equipped with dyno, alignment tester and corner weight gauge. so it seems they are serious about their business.... if you want more info let me know... see what else i can dig up... masahiro
