last time my car made this ticking noise was about 2 weeks ago, found out i had a cracked fin on my turbo, need a new turbo now.....but mine was more like a whine not a tick, and only comes on at boost!!!!

hey guys just realised that the R versions are the t25 flange, i think, not sure but i found a table from bd4s website, and all the r versions have t25 flanges, and the normal gt models are skyline based with t3 flanges

after looking at www.hksusa.com, i think i like the gt2835, dont know though, its hard choosing a turbo/hairdryer...

Trust33, yeh thats ok, im sure it is rated a little hiegher.....not 100% though Performance werkz thanx for the info, so the gt2535 has t25 internals? im confused now, i have a choice between the 2, either gt2535 or 2540 but ive read that the 2540 is a little laggy due to its mismatch!!!!any comments would be helpful again thanx guys...

sorry my bad... current mods: FMIC, POD, 3" dump, high flow cat, full zorst, boost controller, BOV future mods: PFC, new turbo, injectors, fuel pump hoping for anything up near 200+rwkw thing is i found a garrett gt2535r but i dont know anything about it... need some advice thanx guys

hi guys im looking at buying a garrett gt2535r turbo, but am unsure as to the specs. im sure that it bolts straight onto my stock manifold, and is internally wastegated, but the my question is, is this turbo a good upgrade, and how much power will i gain? any help will be great.. thanx in advance

hey mate sorry to hear, mine went yesterday, i got the shits cause they are right, bad luck does come in three's, first my brakes went, then the clutch and now the turbo. i took it to Tony Rigolli and he gave me the all clear on my engine, said i just need a new turbo. so i guess thats a plus!!! wondering if anyone might suggest an upgrade kit fora reasonable price!!

yeh mate there is a small screw looking thing at the back of the plenum, just muck around with that it will change the idle.

sorry to hear mate that sucks.... if it was me i would have lost it coz if had so much bad luck with the cops, but i think it doesnt look good but i would try my luck in court as technically she didnt drive the unregistered car! also wat do u have to lose besides an extra $50, think about it this way u can lose an extra $50 or u can gain by saving that 3 x $485!!! good luck.

i have the same problem, with the bendix ultimates, and there new aswell... it makes ur car look cheap LOL, but i find that it stops after a little hammering too,
