hahaha yeh why not liz... Man i have to do the oil in the GTR and i cant be stuffed. Its so annoying having the front undertray, the car is a little low, so i cant be stuffed trying to jack it up to get to the sump bolt. Then there is the stupid oil filter.. hahaha im getting powerplay to do the oil change man im lazy... I bought HKS front pipes too, and again not putting them on myself.. i shud start to do this stuff again but yeh when u own a GTR then u become more of a "has to be done right" kind of person which then means get someone to do it for you. slightly off topic but meh... no more from me.

yeh i used to do all that kind of stuff myself.. from fibre glass repairs to respray... but not on the GTR, i cant and wont lol.. $200 for a front bar is not bad, iv seen places do them for as low as $185 but thats it.. side skirts shud be around the same. sam, $350 for all that is a little harsh man.. shudnt cost u more then $250 for a lip install and spray.

Yeh for sure... u can have a go at it... we will need to try and get the lighting right, otherwise it will either show up as green or black, too much light the car will look purple lol.. i want to try and get a nice pic of it with all the colors so it looks like the real thing.

hey Joe $200 is ok man... it will cost you more to buy ur own gun and compressor.. plus it wont be easy to spray if you havent done it before... also you will need a pretty good gun, not s cheapo, makes a huge difference.

well the gasket paper im talking about isnt hard to cut at all.. i just used really good tin snips.. (new one) they cut it pretty easily.

Thanks... i gave up taking photo's of it.. its really hard to capture its true color... rather annoying. Im going to get some pro shots taken when i get a chance.. but for now meh ill just stick to looking at it in person

hey charlie... i have enquired about it.. the MP2 and MP3 are both hard to get... its some sort of water based paint not everywhere make it.. Its not about that anyways, its mainly getting it to reflect the same as the rest of the car, as in if u paint only the front bar it may look completely different. specially in the sun. If you see my car up close u will understand wat i mean.

yeh true but ur quickest and best bet is midas exhaust centre... they have all sizes in stock ready to go. and they are all a generic gasket, meaning they can be slightly modified to fit most flanges. ie they will get the closest match then one hole will be elongated... plus they are cheap. repco never have any in stock

hey mate i used to get some of that exhaust gasket paper from auto1. Its a metal gasket with some weird outer layer so it doesnt look like metal until u cut it.. its pretty cheap and works ok... i dont recomend using it all the time as mine used to burn after a month or 2... its too thin... u can get a proper gasket from midus for like $7...

haha you think ur color is hard to match joe???? man try mine.. i want to respray my front bar and mirrors, to rid it of stone chips, it isnt too bad so i dont want to risk making it look diff to the rest of the car.... stupid MP2 might go see him one day soon, see wat he says and wat he might be able to do with it

didnt really read the entire thread.. so i hope i dont look like a n00b... Last time i checked i could have sworn they need to measure it with the light reading gun thing, to see how much light is being blocked. As long as it measures the correct reading its fine. so your saying he looked at it and then said nope thats a defect, no measuring or nothing??? thats pretty harsh and id be fighting that in court. I wouldnt even think twice. thats rediculous. EDIT: just read the 2nd last post and seen i now look like a n00b lol Good news i thought testing needs to be done i once got defected for front tints being 1% too dark lol wat a joke
