Hi all, I'm looking to buy a compact digital camera around Sydney. Anyone have any recommendations on where to go for good prices? I'm no pro and not looking to buy a DSLR but I have 2 compact digital cameras in mind. Canon IXUS 850IS Panasonic Lumix FX-30 Both are 28mm. Are these any good, or are there better cameras in the same size and price? Cheers!

I think all JDM imported cars are tuned to run on 100 RON fuel as that is the lowest RON rating fuel they have over in Japan. Correct me if i'm wrong... In saying that, I've never tried Shell's 100 RON fuel due to it containing Ethanol. They use Ethanol just to bump up the RON rating. Unless your car has been designed to handle even just 5% Ethanol, you are killing your fuel lines and engine.

Guys! What are you all doing?? The Apexi pod filters are not washable. The only way to clean them is to take the pod off and use an air compressor to blow the crap out from the inside. K&N are washable and you have to re-oil them after. HKS and all other foam type is best to replace as the foam detoriates and bits of foam will get sucked in. All other no name brands and cheapies, don't bother as they don't filtrate so the dirt build up may be a good thing... Haha!

Interior wise, don't think so except for the instrument cluster where GTS don't have the boost pressure gauge.

yes, any other coloured tint other than the normal is illegal as it "distorts" the vision of the driver. 35% tint is the legal limit. Any darker, the cops can defect you for it and you will run into insurance claim issues. Insurnace companies can reject your claim id the tint is darker than 35%. Also, if someone smashes your window, the insurance will only replace with 35% tint.

Ask yourself this... I know what my answer would be. If you owned a Commodore V6, would you sell and upgrade to a SS or HSV? If you owned a GTS-T, would you upgrade to a GT-R? Me having owned a Commodore before, I can tell you from experience and I swore to myself... NEVER AGAIN...!

It's down right robbery and irresponsible. It just goes to show that they are just renevue raising. Being done for stopping illegally while doing a 3 point turn is just as insane as me stopping after an accident. Well, I hope it all works out and doesn't go as far as a Court case, but I definately be asking for proof if it does gets that far... Cheers for all the advice. I just spoke to them and yes, it was recorded by a parking inspector. According to them, they have the option of placing the ticket on the windscreen or posting it out to the registered owner of the vehicle. The officer didn't write his name. In the Issuing Officer field it had the Council name. They said I can dispute it by writing them a letter explaining the situation and to provide a claim report from my Insurance company, then they will review and see if I still have to pay.

Couple of weeks ago, my car was involved in a very minor accident. There were no injuries but I stopped on the side of the road (where they were "No Stopping" signs) so we can exchange details. Yesterday, I received a parking ticket from the Council in the post! I mean, can they do this? Am I not supposed to stop at my own accident scene or am I supposed to drive away and be charged with "Hit and Run"? Maybe, I should just circle around till I find a parking... Not sure about the laws to this in other states, but I'm in Sydney.. Any advise on my rights?
