    Matsuri 2Nd July

how did the day go? Must be damn wet out there. Slippery much?
  2. Bring in 'mod plate laws' similar to Qld, have a motorsport complex signed off by the Govt, roads made 'safer' (quality) by ensuring funds raised by drivers ie fines go back into the roads fund rather tha line the Govt's coffers......
  3. TBH Id be happy to step up to the plate............. Must look into whats required to register as an independent candidate, to run for the Upper House.
  4. Black S2 stagea with BBS-style wheels in background of Ch.10 news (live on site report), Port Rd.
  5. Sorry guys, had a heap of interest in the Multichecker unit today. Consider it SOLD Thread Closed. Thanks
  6. Wiring instructions will be included in sale printed from here: http://www.240sx.org/faq/articles/apex.htm
  7. lol she's got a wart on her right cheek. mind you, beggars cant be choosers hey ?
  8. Gtech do a return flow kit to suit R32, and CoolingPro also do a kit to suit I believe. Blitz do a return flow kit (see here : http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Blitz-CS-Front-Mount-Intercooler-Kit-Skyline-R32-GTS-/370521839697?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5644d29851 or here on JustJap : http://www.justjap.com/store/product.php?productid=18655&cat=339&page=1) On my RB25det I used to run an Apexi return flow kit, which was originally to suit a 180sx. edit: here is another unit to suit R32, return flow. decent price. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SKYLINE-R32-RB20-INTERCOOLER-465-X-260-X-70-2-5-/360376136296?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item53e8177268
  9. awesome Luke, must be coming along nicely. What did you decide for the rears? Im using Wilwood 4-pots up front with 324mm discs, and Stagea rear setup on the R32 (stagea rear is smaller than R32). Last trackday was knocking off 2secs faster per lap with semi-slick Pzero tyres (treadwear rating of 80) and 324mm discs up front.... I dont feel that a stripped skyline will require large rear brakes, but awaiting to trial that out myself next SAU:SA track day - thats right, I dibs a spot!!!! (last 2 trackdays only got in 2 - 3 sessions before a) overheated engine, and b) lost ringlands) is that in dollars Andrew? Ive been waiting to win the lottery for some time now, is today my lucky day??
  10. Nice! How do you rate them? To me, best tyre Ive used so far on a car. Massive amounts of grip. Had one Mallala track day with them and had bugger-all peeling of rubber, infact they look barley used. Cut my times down by well over 2 seconds as well (in conjunction with 4-pot R32 calipers & 324mm 350z discs)
  11. 1/8th mile is sooooo not worth it. If I lived at Tailem Bend (thinking of it, houses for sale for 100k) or Murray bridge then yeh Id have a go, but seriously you cant even get into the top end of the engines rev range in 200m in a decent gear (2nd gear limiter smashing does nothing for me). Why the hell cant Adelaide have a motorsport complex? The laws that be want to get hoon driving off the streets, but where the F* can you go? Would love to have a complex where you can go out friday nights for 1/4mile 400m drag sessions, and saturday night track sessions. If the Govt can fund a billion dollar hospital, half billion dollar Adelaide Oval upgrade (the Oval is perfect as-is IMHO), etc. then why the hell not a motorsport complex? Adelaide manufactures Holden (and used to manufcature Mitsubishi) so I feel its kinda ingrained into our culture here to enjoy motor vehicle "sports"......... but its all too hard for the Govt to support a complex - even tho we stage a V8 race that disrupts the city (traffic & residents) each and every year. *bangs head against (tyre) wall.
  12. brand new, but were old stock from Italy. Taleb Tyres got in a container of these tyres. I feel they have sold out now though

  15. Pirelli PZero semi-slicks (treadwear rating of 80!) FTW!!!! got my set of 4 for $600 total
  16. 40 to 45 psi??? geez man, lower it to 32-35psi, surely. you are over inflatting the tyres. also, FYI you can get semi-slick 18" x 245 tyres from $150 to $200...... ie Pirreli Pzero (I paid $150ea), Kuhmo KU36 (I paid $195ea)... contact SAU trader Taleb-Tyres You are paying too much for tyres, and over-inflating, in my opinion.
  17. The sooner the state has a motorsport complex the better; no excuses then.
  18. Yes mine uses the Z32 air flow metre, runs larger injectors, etc... all good for a nice high flowing turbocharger (Gt3076r)
  19. Trust me, with legroom being a HUGE issue for me. 201cm tall and have had BOTH kneecaps (patellas) removed and not replaced. Being comfortable is my no.1 aim in life, so to be comfy whilst driving is very important; hence in the end the decision to replace the stock seat (I have tracked the stagea numerous times, and am a Hills driver - used to be a Hills bike rider for a decade......) A bride rail will also give you more headroom as the seat will sit lower and further back for the go-go-gadget long legs.
  20. no Ash you dont need both. I wasnt exactly happy with the tuned Rom ecu remap, was running quite rich & felt "doughy". Remap was a mail-order from Toshi, so obviously a bit of a hit & miss affair being a generic guesstimate tune. I added in the Fic-8 to replace a stolen set of SAFC & SITC piggybacks, and wired up the S15 450cc injectors to run directly off it, ended up with a great result. Power went from 200rwkw to 230awkw with the Aem Fic-8 tune, with a tired bottom end. Bottom end is being rebuilt currently, in due time will retune to hopefully around 250awkw.
  21. you'd need a sidemount rail to suit the stock chair, going by memory. I had a friend pull apart the standard rail, make some new holes in the rail to enable it to slide back further (around 3cm extra leg room), and re-weld back together I ran that for 3.5 years until got fed up with the stock chairs' lack of lateral grip. Bought a bride rail from ebay, a $299 Saas D1 drift chair from autobarn, removed the standard chair (eventualy threw it out!) and simply bolted in the aftermarket chair with rail.... soooooo much comfier and probably 2 inches extra leg room all up. Ive had this setup for over 2.5yrs now, very happy with it. Just decreases legroom behind the driver, makes the car moreoff a 3-4 seater as such; definately no adults behind me due to no leg room for them, its all miiiiine!!!
  22. The AEM Fic-8 is slightly advanced in features when compared to a Emanage Ultimate.
  23. YES, I use the Aem Fic-8 piggyback I have a remapped ecu and use the Fic-8 to finetune the fuelling (larger injectors).
  24. Im 6'8" tall. I run a Bride Low drivers seat rail on a Saas D1 seat Used to have standard chair but modified the rail to go back an extra inch. The Bride Low rail helps the seat go riiiiight back, legroom therefore not being an issue whatsoever. edit: modified the rail in the shed, so not exactly legal although was sturdy enough. Wiltshire motor trimmers, South Rd, would be able to do it legally I believe. But for the cost I feel you'd be better off taking out the chair/rail and use a bride rail with chair of your choice.
  25. Skylines impounded for 28days after the heysen tunnels incident. see here : http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=8266791
