  1. Where abouts?
  2. Same at my old work we used to deal with leader on a regular basis, the amount of times they'd send our orders to the wrong store, would put stuff on order and then send the wrong part. We got f**ked around so much we just stopped dealing with them and we were almost a million dollar customer.
  3. I can get stuff wholesale through leader and even their wholesale prices can be 50-100% dearer then I can get from MSY. The comfort is not worth that much to me. With the amount computer parts depreciate I'd be happy to write a lot of parts off after 1-2 years.
  4. Thats not true, no matter what they state if its broken they must replace it or give you a full refund including any surcharge. If they say otherwise contact consumer affairs and they will sort it out for you. When issued a warranty thats is the manurfacturers warranty not the stores, so technically the manufacturer has to honour it not them, however you can take it back to them 2 years later (say 3yr warranty) and make them organise it (I've done this before and if you make enough of a fuss/get consumer affairs involved they will) usually its easier to go straight to the service agent though if they are located in Adelaide. Also if say someone sells you something brand new with a 1 month warranty (lets for example use a TV) and it breaks after 2 months you can take them to court and get them to replace/fix it at their cost. Theres a law (I don't know the details but I can try and dig it up) that if you are sold something and it breaks basically far before it should then they are liable to fix it.
  5. Thats what I was going to suggest, why haven't they (garret etc) developed any that use a wastegate also?
  6. www.msy.com.au have excellent prices and are local in Adelaide.
  7. http://www.carbibles.com/tyre_bible.html This is a good read for anyone interesting in tyres etc and how they work.
  8. This thread is pretty much hilarious, I love ridiculously long arguments, you do realise it won't ever end? Also the bmw motor is the f**king shit, check out this dyno graph http://www.stratmosphere.com/Milltekcbfw.jpg http://www.automobilemag.com/features/news...w_335i_dyno.jpg Peak torque at 2k rpm, have you ever seen a turbo motor which such a flat torque spread? if you had to guess you would think it was an NA v8. Seriously guys this thread wasn't to compare the motors it was to admire such a beautiful engine.
  9. Massive stretch is retarded, it doesn't even look good. I fail to see the purpose of it, you want some sidewall flex otherwise its just too unpredictable. Unless you drift non stop then the correct tyre size is going to perform better.
  10. The best part about adsl2 is you have so much upload bandwidth you can prioritise packets so that you can be downloading torrents and get only ~10-20 increase in ping for games.
  11. The point was you can get the more for cheaper elsewhere, Adam for example do 5gig at 24mb for $39 a month.
  12. Cable has horrid plans, why would you stay with them? $100 for 25gig @ 17mb Adam are offering 24mb 40gig for $70
  13. Well I'm moving to Adam internet now $20 a month cheaper and I've got a lot of mates with them who've only got good things to say. So long Internode.
  14. Don't you mean thinner?
  15. Personally I wouldn't drive my car interstate only because of fuel costs, the 4.3 diff means you sit on 3.5-4k at any decent speed.
  16. Probably just because its running so rich when it misses, if its faulty it shouldn't cause problems like that anyway. Nothing to lose, unplug it and see how you go for a day. It will run richer and use a lot more fuel at idle/cruise though.
  17. You'd think if it was such a common problem they'd inform all buyers that are using them on new motors. Sucks but now that its happened to you its probably much less likely to happen to anyone else thats thread this.
  18. I got quoted $250 to install and tune an SAFC as well, $500 did that include anything else?
  19. I often drive my car for no reason at all then to enjoy it. Probably at least once a week I'll go up in the hills by myself to stretch its legs. On the way back from uni I'll often take the longer way just so I can enjoy driving it.
  20. Was it done specially for your car or was it just a random chip? If so get it on a dyno and get a proper remap its probably running way rich.
  21. Where do you live, I'm sure there are some reputable tuners around.
  22. Im assuming the apexi neo is an SAFC, if so hes tuned it too rich you want to aim for ~12:1 Notice how the line is very wonky, it could be tidied up a lot.
  23. New computer time, and someone who can tune it! A better tune should net you A LOT more power, ~180 easily.
  24. I guess you don't have to spend that much but if you want to do it once do it properly and have it reliable then big bucks it is.
