hey ppls How do you access the globes inside the headlights ?? Do i need to take out the headlight its self ?? how do i go about doing that ? Im trying to access the globe in one of the headlights in the side part... you no how the headlight goes from the front of the car.. to the side.. that globe that sits in the front corner.. im trying to get to that as it doesnt seem to work.. however the one on the other side does.. thanks again

yeah my intercooler pipe, the input one sits under the intercooler itself (blitz kit which uses the stock pipes) so the pipe sits like .5 - 1cm lower thant the front bumper so im always careful.. just pisses me off cause its like 1 driveway outa 1000 which does it It was like U shaped... you no those ones where the car dips down that back up anyways thanks for the info guys

my clutch died exactly a week after i put the exhaust and intercooler in i was doing 100km/hr on the freeway and then suddenly the car quiet happily reved to 7000rpm in 5th gear i got a exedy heavy duty clutch as a replacement for like $600-700 or so installed. I've had it for about 5 months.. Its starting to slip now so i'll probably get something abit better when finances permit

nah i hit it on someones stupid driveway... grrr!!! so it pulled the pipe out that connects to the intercooler... there was only a little bit of oil.. just on the bit where the 2 pipes connect up.. not much at all realy..

hey ppls after someones driveway helped me forcefully remove my intercooler pipes i noticed there was a little bit of oil in the pipes, just a tiny bit it would seem. Is this normal or anything to worry about ?? thanks heaps

if you get a gtr wing, can you just pull off the gtst one and slap in on the gtr one ?? do all the bolts sorta just line up ?

I've also changed the first 8x8 inj map cells down 8 presses on the pfc.. didnt seem to affect the drive, but the fuel went up slightly (mighta just been one of those things though) but yeah obviously its stupid playing with the inj... :|

i was booked in for a 'full' tune for $500, but my tuner was having issues with access to the dyno.. he actualy let me hang around and watch him tune the car In the end he only got like an hours dyno time so he just tuned it for WOT. He only charged me $200 though.. But yeah since changing the timing the car goes evan better aswell

is there anyway to detect it besides the knock sensor ?? like a more acurate way ?

whens boost come on for you ?? its about 2200rpm for me with the std turbo

i've changed mine +5 in the first 10x10.. It definetly improved response at slower speeds. feels great. The last week or so i've had it an extra +2... cant seem to notice a differance with that.. except the knock is slightly higher.. (in the 20's) so i'll probs change it back to 5.. siks your pfc isnt realy tuned at all though yeah ?

yeah its the same with the consult cable.. some people had issues with some adaptors.. long as u dont buy the cheapest one you should be right..

hehe u cant ask a workshop about there opinion on another workshop well you can... but its going to be extremely biased obviously..........

get a usb - serial adaptor.. like $30

in the hacking a datalogit website though it talks about ign vs airflow, ign vs battery power etc etc etc... ? I dont think it talks anywhere about inj vs airflow.. also.. it would explain how sam "added some timing" to my pfc without having to change the ign maps.......

which bits the bracket ? just bolt it onto something metal

is there anyway to tell if the fuel reg is screwed without having to anoy a mechanic ?? any simple checks ?

hmm so if you can change the ign using that method... how would someone change the fuel levels quickly ??? I know theres the water correction.. but is that it ?

ben nah the airflow table lets you change the timing based on the airflow
