how much can you safely reduce the fuel.. ? like if your just having a little play with it.. type of thing ?

i had the same thing.. it was the fuel sender thingy which sits in the petrol tank. The sender thing is supposed to sit on a little bracket on the right hand side of the fuel tank, but it might of fallen off... if you have a look in the fuel tank you'll probably see it floating around. Its like a long tube thing.. You just need to stick it back on its bracket thingy

hehe i think if someone isnt eating to save money for mods, therapy might be a good option

i've been to them a couple of times to get some stuff done, they do a great job no complaints at all

hmm i think i get it.. why do people play with there light load settings in there ecu's though if the closed loop thing takes over ??

so basicaly if the o2 sensor is going up/down.. and the injector duty is quite low then its in closed loop ?

hey ppls got another quick question... the settings in the AFM section in the pfc... its got values like.. 2v = 100% or woteva... if i changed that from say like 100% to 105%.. what affect would it probably have ? From my understanding that function kinda operates like a safc... ? also.. i shouldnt be touching this.. but under IGN/INJ if i turned the fuel down say like 5 button presses.. should i be able to tell a differance ? like maybe the car wouldnt accerlerate as fast or something??? Im just trying to play with the fuel ever so slightly without breaking anything thanks

my pfc/o2 sensor reports about the same voltages.. 0.2v - 0.8v In the r33 workshop manual It ses it should be approx 0.3v - 0.6v.. so I figured it was within spec..

I just had my fc tuned a few weeks ago.... You will absolutely love it once its tuned Its so much more responsive and heaps more fun to drive

i was playing with the ol pfc again just now.. i noticed on idle the timing is at like 15 or 16.. and the water temp was 61 degrees.. In my ign maps though theres no referance to any 15's or 16's though.. There is on the stock maps though. Where would it be getting this 15 or 16 from ? or what setting would be kicking it telling it to do somethng else ?

well.. ppls... this is a bit embarrasing... but it would appear i didnt have the o2 sensor enabled in the pfc shes works like a charm now, thanks for ya help specialy paul.

do they release slightly differant maps in the diff versions of the pfc/hand controller maybe ? I was comparing my ign map to the one in the faq, and in some points (outside of the first 10x10 range) they were off by like 10 degrees. I also compared them to the ign map in the FC PRO software, they was differant as well.. ?? Mine is pfc v 5.11, and hand controller v5.01A (might be the other way around) Wered you grab the stock map on the faq from ?

hey ppls just wondering if u can all help me, ive got a r33 with the basic mods and a pfc.. I seem to only get like 250km a tank.. My pfc was tuned for max power, and ive played with the timing slightly to try and get better economy.. however it doesnt seem to affect the eco.. My car also has a bosch 040 pump.. Evan after i put in the pfc.. econemy still stayed at like 250km. I've changed the o2 sensor today, because my old one was completely dead.. it still didnt make any differance at all though ??? I cant smell petrol anywhere So i dont think its leaking ? and my car never has any black clouds of smoke or anything like that, it seems to run perfectly.. its basicaly always just using 250km regardless of what I do.. Oh yeah i've also tried that nylon fuel injector cleaning stuff, but that also didnt make any differance.. I realy dont drive around that fast.. so i should be getting abit better than 250km.. Im going to replace the fuel filter next weekend.. Im not sure if that will help though but is there anything else I should look at replacing before I take it to my mechanic.. ? cause its realy pissing me off now.. Oh yeah its possible my fuel gauge is screwed i suppose.... but i dont think so... ? When i drive it goes up and down a little bit.. like one minute its 8/10 full... the next its 9/10 full... then its back down to like 8/10 where it might stay for a while.. It doesnt seem to sway up and down as if the petrol gauge sender thingy was floating in the fuel tank.. i dont think ??? Anyways have any ideas on what else I can test... ?? thanks heaps
