with the hose coming off the boost controller to the left, did you take the little metal restrictor thingy out of it (or replace the hose) ?? I had the same problem with my first boost controller cause of that.

theres airflow warning in 'etc' ?? thats disabled. theres also the airflow sensor check ?? where am i looking again ??

the maps being for the ign and fuel ? the 20x20 maps ? see thats the thing i checked them and there the exact same as the base/stock maps.. The pfc is definetly tuned cause it goes realy well, U just cant seem to find the menu which has settings which are differant to the stock ones ?? ( i wrote down all the stock ones) I know the 'ign/fuel' setting lets you temporarily change stuff, so its not that one either. It also definetly wasnt done with any software. What else besides those maps would you quickly 'tune' to get it going nicely ??

i had something like that in my old car. Somehow water had gotten in the bits where the spark plugs go. We used a high pressure air hose thingy to get it all out and off she went again.

i used to reset the ecu in my r33 heaps.. could never tell a differance before/after

nah it seems to run pretty well all the time. When its cold though it takes a few mins for it to be 100% happy but thats normal i always thought ? ill goto midas later this week or something get them to check it out, there usualy quite cheap btw coupe-this.. you live close to me i think... is there anywhere local you take your car to get work done on it ?

hey peoples this is a realy stupid question.. but say you where quickly tuning ya pfc for a r33 which are the actual 'settings' in the pfc's menu which would get changed ? Im just trying to write down my settings incase it ever looses them or something stupid like that.. all the fuel/ign maps look to be exactly the same as the base ones ?? so i dont wana spend 6 hours writing them down as well if theres no point ? thank u

i used to have a pvc pipe connected to the pod filter in my cough cough excel, I sprayed it with this heat resistant black paint stuff, not sure if the paint did anything but it never melted or warped or anything.

is it something i can just get any ol mechanic to fix ? cause im cheap thanks heaps for your help

hey peoples Ive been watching the engine coolant levels in my r33 lately and it seems to be using heaps of it. Its gone down like 1cm worth in the last 30km of driving. I marked the level on the bottle a few days ago and its definetly gone down heaps. Im thinking it may have started 2 weeks ago when i had my installed/tuned ? Is there anything I should check, or is it just gonna use abit more now ? The engine coolant stuff im using is castrol radi cool i think. thanks

nah stock boost is 5 - 7psi.. when you go past 4500rpm the boost solenoid thing opens and gives you the extra 2 psi.. so you get 7 in total.. What do you mean 1+ ? 7 on the stock boost gauge means 14psi if thats what your talking bout ?
