yeah but all they need is 1 little excuse not to pay you... lets say you have an illegal bov... option a) they can be nice and pay you out evan if though they dont legaly have to option B) they can stick to there terms and conditions and pay you nothing

I was also under that impression.. but i called them up to double check (i was having this same discussion with someone a few weeks ago) they say they will cover you... but if you read there terms and conditions it ses if you have anything illegal fitted to your car you will not be covered. I told them about my safc/boost controller and they charged me the extra $40 or $50..... then when i asked them if im covered they said its my responsibility to make sure nothing illegal is fitted to the car... they clearly said 'no you wont be covered' its an insurance company... there going to be looking for any excuse not to pay you..... Maybe its abit more strict in victoria or something... but i reckon all you guys should ring up and double check, cause there terms and conditions policy overrule your policy.

i realy hate these threads 22... $3200/yr... btw everyone, remember if you got illegal mods like a boost controller or a bov and you have an accident just cars wont pay you out a cent.

stupid fuel guage / 040 pump / me turns out u need petrol in the car to start it.......

hey peoples my car doesnt seem to start anymore. It starts for like 2 seconds then just cuts out. I was trying to replace my bleed valve with one of those $22 ones tonight.. so i swaped it over, started the car and it just turned off after like 2 seconds, if i put my foot on the accelerator it didnt seem to make a differance, anyways so i swaped over back to the original GFB bleed valve but the same thing still happened ?? so im thinking now maybe its not the controller..... I installed a 040 fuel pump the other week but the car has been running 100% since then.. im also pretty sure there should be enough petrol in the tank.. also when i turn the key to on, the pump makes the normal priming noise.. Anyone have any ideas to what it could be ? it doesnt seem like normal when i just use to much of the battery and the car doesnt start... ??? if anyone has any ideas that'd be great

besides all the great points everyone else has said above if you drive the car then mod it slowly... you'll probably get more satisfaction out of it cause each new mod adds new power to the car. So after each mod its like driving a new car kinda... Thats how it is for me anyways

i got a blitz intercooler kit, was a bit expensive $1200 but im very very happy with it. its always freezing cold . it uses the stock pipes as well so the input put goes under the intercooler. kinda looks like this.. ||||||__ |||||| |______ as oposed to the normal ones which look like this ___||||||||___ |||||||| i do prefer the look of the normal one, but it looks cool anyways edit: pictures didnt quite work.. u no what i mean tho

you can record a conversation that takes place in person or over the phone and you dont have to tell them there being recorded. Thats how it is in vic anyways

ya the 040 doesnt need it. is it possible after installing the new fuel pump im using more petrol now ? the fuel meter indicator thingy seems to still be alright. should i just stop looking at it perhaps ?

cool thanks heaps for that info makes me a feel a bit safer. so going by that, just to double check for the last time.. if the + terminal on the stock pump wasnt covered it would be all cool though anyways yeah as long as it would securely done like you said ??? im so close to completing it now were going on day 3 of the saga..... just need to get some of those connector things to crimp on the wires and stick it all back in and i'll be done... hopefully thanks

on a diff subject.. if the fuel pumps in the fuel tank.. and theres a spark on the fuel pump or something.. wouldnt that be very bad...... ? hmm maybe i should just stick to IT

me again turns out u just yank on the cable and out the fuel pump comes.... last question this time.. for sure... im just seeing how it all reattachs now..Im just not sure do i just hookup the rubber fuel pipe directly to the pump and bypass the gold pipes on the brackets ? Also when i mount it with some rubber to stop the vibrations.. is that the vibrations between the pump and the mounting bracket.. or the pump and fuel tank thanks again oh yeah.. i've included a pic so you all know what im on about :
