hey ppls For the last week or so when i start my car it makes 2 wierd clicks right before the motor is actualy running. Like i turn the key, it makes the choking noise for a couple of seconds like normal then right before the engine is on and running it makes 2 wierd metal sounding clicks. You can only hear it inside the car from the drivers side and im pretty sure its coming from somewhere near the wheel. Its not causing any issues it just never did it before and i dont want it to be more expensive to fix later on. anyone got any ideas.. my dad rekons it might be the starter motor ?but he's an accountant so im to sure.... oh yeah its not the same clicking noise you hear when you get a flat battery and try to star the car.

hey ppls firstly i tried to search on this topic, but it didnt come up with anything related to this at all.. Just wondering would a water injection kit for $400 be a wise purchase for the ol r33 ? It comes with a 100psi water pump and all the little bits and pieces to get her going... aparantly the nozzle should sit somewhere just after fmic ? anyone know where the best position would be ? I've got no clue on this, but the theory sounds pretty good, just not sure if its all $400 good ? thanks

hey ppls Im looking for an aftermarket speedo that displays more than 180km/hr. I know theres the nismo etc etc ones avaliable for like $600..... Is it possible to get some type of auto electrician person to recalibrate my stock speedo to trick it into thinking when im doing 180km/hr its only doing like 90km/hr (half way on the speedo). ?? Then all i'd have to do is change the numbers on the actual speedo to match the new positions.. or would this be more expensive than just paying the damn $500 ?? thanks heaps

::Thats interesting as what was swaying me with them was the extended warranty on their cars. :: Yeah they have an extended warranty i got suckered into buying it. was like $400 extra. All i Know is after my first service with them a few parts had to be changed, would of though the warranty/good will would of covered that. They also wanted to charge me to fix the rattle they created cause it was taking them so long to fix... they also have a panel beater/workshop down the road

well that confirms it then, whiteline kit it is! thanks One other quick question, i was reading in some other posts you get the 'low' or 'super low' springs or something with the kits ? I called up some whiteline distributors they didnt know what I was on about. Is this the case ? Id be looking at getting the 'low' ones if it is, i just dont want to order the wrong thing.

I wont go into to much detail cause theres a thread about Kamikaze motors from 2 or 3 weeks ago somewhere already.. anyways there a bunch of con artists, and yeah as soon as you've bought it they dont want to hear from you.

My wheels used to be on a GTR, so it should work i spose. They stick out like 1cm though.... kinda anoying =at times.

hey peoples Anyone want to buy my SAFC2 off me. Its about 3 months old and in excellant condition. You basicaly just get the safc2 unit by its self. Unfortunatly you DONT get the stand, wiring harness and japanese instructions. $180 !! SAFC2 added 30kw to my r33 so there pretty good for people who dont want to do the hole ecu thing. thanks

Hey guys Just wondering if anyone has a full suspension kit from whiteline on there skyline ? Im looking at getting the $2k 'works' package but I have no clue about anything suspension related realy. I believe you get everything you need with the kit but is it all worth it?, Would I be better off spending the 2k elsewhere ?? (besides the dictionary shop ) From what i've seen of whiteline there pretty good, but comments from anyone who's got the full kit would be gr8. thanks

You cant realy do anything to the stock ecu on r33. You could get a SAFC2 though, that will hook into the standard ecu and will let you control the air/fuel levels. Ive got a safc2, its pretty cool but i wish i got a powerfc I think the R32's ecu can be reprogrammed again, but no such luck for the 33's.

i c the problem..the boost cut thing!! I Need to get a proper boost controller so it doesnt go past 10psi.. stupid GFB controller

Hey peoples ive discovered ive got the same problem. The squeek comes from the outside though it would seem. It makes the noise when the clutch is pushed in. Should i wait it out 12k more km till my 100k km service, or should i get it looked at now ? cause I dont think im competant enough to do anything besides spray wd40 all over the place ???

hey everyone this is a bit wierd, now it might just be me but i've noticed when i drive around if i put my foot on the accelerater quickly and it goes to full boost 10-12 psi the car doesnt seem to accelerate very quickly... evan with my foot on for the accelerator for 4-5 seconds.. it accelerates just not as quick as id imagine... On the other hand though, when I gradualy up the boost like from 0-5-10psi it has way more of a pull and you can feel it accelerating heaps faster when its at 10psi. Am I missing some basic rule of driving or is something perhaps not quite right ?? thanks heaps
