    Hypertune

Hypertune sell Full-race products. Full-race also sells Hypertunes products. Hypertune do fab their own exhaust manifolds but also sell Full-races products.
  2. Hypertune's B16A use to make 365kw at the wheels with one of GCG 35/66spl units on 24 psi. so i'm thinking that it should not be that hard to make over 400 on a normal GT35R with the 1.06.
  3. Mate i've just put the TRUST unit on myself. The best unit you can put on your car. I just had Hypertune fit and pipe the cooler to a single T88. Hopes this helps. Also it added another 30awkw.
  4. Hey guys, I need a secong hand TRUST 600x300x 135 intercooler to stick on my car if anyone knows someone who is selling could you please let me know. Cheers
  5. The older 100mm units flow more the current 100mm units. don't change it unless you get one of the 135 or the 150mm thick cores, or a 100mm ARC unit.
  6. Hey Paul, I was very supprised with the results as well. I'll drop around to Doughboy\s place tomorrow and drop of the photos . We also took a video of the dyno run with the 4"exhaust. Very loud. Have a good christmas everyone. Cheers Ben
  7. Hypertune did the fab work and install C&V help out with the Dyno CRD is a TRUST dealer who sold me the intercooler. We run a TRUST T88-33d. All we did was change the piping to suit the new cooler. we already had a hypertune intake and 100mmTB. AS for we could just run more boost thats right, but first we are getting the car sorted with what we currently have. I'm not sure what the record for power out of a 33D is but we'll see what we can get out of it. Also i'm not about to wind up the boost with the new mods when the car has not had a retune. We want to make hte most out of our engine and turbo set-up, not just wind up the boost and see what figures we can run. i would rather run more power on less boost, yes it mite cost a bit more but at least we can see what the engine is capable of.
  8. Hey guys I'm not going to try to prove anything here, people on this forum know that i wouldn't make up crap. You gain extra power two ways. 1 less pressure drop across the core(less back pressure on the turbo. 2 reduce inley temps. this car did have a trust 600x300x100mm core, but the power was dropping off up top. We thought this was from a restriction of some kind which we thought was the cooler. We also knew that the exhaust would give me about that power because we have tested it before. The other exhaust is a trust unit and we had a cat removal pipe fitted. I'll see if doughboy would be kind enough to put the photos up today. If there are any serious none believers just call C & V when they open back up.
  9. Nothing at all. if the air is colder its more dense, more dense = more power. this was going from a trust 600x300x100 core.
  10. Hi guys, just letting you know the results from putting on the TRUST 710x305x165mm intercooler. We first ran the car up as is and made 350AWKW Once we put the cooler on we gained alittle bit of lag(not much) and then we gained 31kw at the wheels. This to me was a great result. I then had a bit of time to put on the 4" exhaust to see what would happen. Yet another 30awkw. We ended up with 410awkw If i'm right thats 17% increase. The car will head back to CRD in the new year. The goal is 500awkw on pump gas. fingers crossed. Next mods might be bigger cams and injectors. Also a big thanks to the guys at CRD for the cooler, The guys at Hypertune for installing and piping up the cooler and also C&V for staying back late whilst we were changing the exhaust. Cheers
  11. I Have to take some photos and take them around to dough boy to put up how about i just give him the photos of the intercoolers and the dyno tuns on sat as i'vce just booked the car in for a power run at C&V at 7.30 on sat morning wich should give the guys at Hypertune enough time to install the cooler to a stage where i can drive the car around for the after power run. Cheers
  12. I'm crap with computers so I'll see if i can get Doughboy to put up a photo of it beside a stock GTR core. It comes with 5 mounts to mount it to the front of the car.Its big.
  13. Hey guys, just got our new Trust Drag intercooler from CRD(thanks guys). Its the biggest one that you can buy off the shelf. its 710mm wide X 305mm high X a massive 165mm thick(150mm tube). I'll be putting the cooler on this weekend, if CRD have time i'll get a power run on the sat morning then fit the cooler and then another one once the shop opens back up. maybe even try and rerun on the sat.(fit on the friday night). Once the cooler is fitted i can then rule out any pressure drop across the core. I'm thinking that once this cooler is on and the 4" exhaust is back on the 700cc injectors will impose a power restriction. CRD have said they normally see them max out at around 500-520 awkw. I'll be glade if our set-up can make that sort of power with the 33d that we have. I know that with the 4" exhaust n the car will come on boost earlier and i should see the 500 at about 8000rpm.Since there should be no restriction up top the only thing stopping power all the way to its 8500rpm limiter would be the turbo it self. The set-up now on the GTR is a TRUST exhaust manifold SARD wastegate, TRUST T88-33D, TRUST 710 X 305 X 165 intercooler. 4"piping to a HYPERTUNE intake manifold and HYPERTUNE 100mm TB. The head is also ported. The cams are only the tomei 260 9.15 pon units, bu ti think they will work well with the small exhaust housing. I'll let you all know how the new set-up goes and back to back them with our old GT-SS set-up. Cheers
  14. There are many types of T88. We use the smallest one the T88-33D. The power of the Big single is hard to beat. we are currently making 395AWKW on 22psi. I suggest you have a rebuilt motor so you can take full advantage of that turbo. even with say 400 awkw the lag you get over small twins, it might not be worth it. We are going to see if we can bump to power up to 500awkw. The power band get mover much higher into the rev range with a T88 so just remember unless you have a good motor(low lev limiter) your power band will be smaller. The fastest circut GTR in Japan Runs a T88-33D. I 2.8L would be good with the T88 range or massive revs. Either way they are great turbo to use. A mate of mine is putting a T88-38GK on a 4L V8 so it will be interesting to see how that goes. Just one other thing people say they have lag, our car makes stock GTR power 160kw then it goes mad at about the 5k mark. Cheers
  15. Lance first we must find out what the 33d can produce. Then may go back to twins? not low mounts. and its a still a 26 built by CRD.
  16. Hi guys, Our car will be back around to CRD very shortly(about 3 weeks) once our new Trust Drag 710x300x165mm twin entry intercooler arrives. We will also be putting the 4" exhaust back on. Not sure on power levels but i would like to see over 500awkw. Lance at CRD said that our injectors will max out at around 520kw with the fuel system that we have at the moment. The next upgrade will be to SARD 1000cc jectors along with a new Hypertune radiator and oil cooler. The car next year will be getting set-up to start hitting the track, both circut and drag. Once Jim and done the tune with the new cam timming i will post up the results and let you know what a T88-33D is able to produce. Trust's claimed power out put is only 750PS.I'm aiming foo 700HP at the wheels. Cheers
  17. I'm talking anything. I'm sure there would be a couple of tube 350zeds over in the states running 6's by now.
  18. Just wonering what the quickest RB powered car is? I thought it would be a pro rwd 350z or somthing like that. Cheers
  19. I've got a OS tripple and have had it in the car now for 3 years. we currently have 400awkw. my mates also got a twin in his civic , great to drive
  20. There is guy on here call forged, he's got a T67 and some other mods give him a buzz.
  21. Your selling your stuff so cheap for an R34, Good luck with the sale.
  22. Yes you cn make power with the stock cooler, but at the expense of pumping more boost into the hot side of the cooler than needed. We have a TRUST 600x300x115 cooler on our car at the moment and we have found that we are also starting to get a drop across the core. We are looking at getting a custom core with the size being 700x340x150 made up so we don't have these problems again. You can just get the big TRUST units like the 600x 300x 165 and you would be done.
  23. Just buy the HKS adapter plate wich takes it from the T51 flange to a t4 flange. Cheers
  24. CRD in sydney does some really great wok with the FC.
