  2. yess. just incase. any awd post r32. you cant just pull the fuse as youl burn out the transfer case. as its "preloaded" as a general rule. if the cars got 2 drain plugs on the transfer case you can. if its only got 1 plug. you cant
  3. on the car build plate whats it say under "transmission" like the code for the gear box ? fs5r30a or something?

  8. differant body wiring harness differant diff differant cluster differant attessa ecu need the a-lsd pump and lines need some extra bracing things under the car differant brake ducts? ohh and the sticker my guess is atleast 5grand just in parts
  9. or do what cubes said.
  10. that little turbine wheel would be choking pretty hard. from my memory it is 2.22/2.11 inch dimensions 90trim one problem with the nice gt series turbos is the dont benifit to much from "high flowing" but rather exhaust housing changes. im sure discopotato sp? woulkd agree with me here. i was gonna get a gt35-66 (with the 63trim (66.7mm comp wheel) but i was talked out of it from my turbo suplier as the did a back to back test on a 13b turbo with a gt35r then a gt35-66 and lost 30hp at the wheels. with a backpressure gauge the 66 wheel was out flowing? the turbine wheels capabilities chocking the motor. 336rwkw to 314rwkw on the same boost. 1.2bar with the 1.06 rear housing
  11. yes tru tru my old dr30 did 11.8 @128 mph with 329rwkw my gtr does 11.7@116mph with 315.9 rwkw. im sure the wieght diferance will contribute but 12mph is a pretty big diff
  12. to test it you may have to aply battery voltage to the alternator regulator feed. im not 100 percent on wich one of the two it is. (two pin plug on the alternator) just use a test light with the aligator clip end on the car jump start points. (next to the engine bay fuse box) and probe each terminal. youl here a whine when the alternator energises and it will start charging. if it doesnt it is a shagged alternator.
  13. hmmm. you may have blown a fuse
  14. yep. if the charge light bulb blows you dont get charge. ie.. it completes a circuit to the altinator to energise the voltage regulator.....
  15. id check the wheel bearings.
  16. i c.. 32gtr is the same as 33gtst. 298 by 32mm 33/34gtr uses brembo calipers on a 328 by 32mm disc. 32 gtst uses pidly 280mm by 28mm disc. z32 uses 2800 by 32mm discs. the brembos use a diferant pad. the non brembos use a db1170 pad. (common as) id use the brembos. or try and find some porche brembos. (big reds) as the pads are sutabe for a large discs. but ferrari f40 calipers are perfect for 343mm disc. (slighty shallower pad from the big reds.) my advise is ebay to buy them. just do s asearch for "brembo brake caliper"
  17. mate. ive never seen that part before at all it looks like some sort of pipe holder/insulator for the fuel/oil lines etc etc
  18. if its a series 1 there solid if its 96 onward there vented both use a internal drum handbreak. the turbo ones bolt up as far as im aware
