You guys, i tell ya where would we be with out ya. thanks heaps i agree "cubes" i doubt i will really notice the power for what ill be using it for and ash not sure if ill be at GOR if i am ill probably be in another car. so ill let you know but thanks heaps.

so its come down to this and as some of you would know i am preparing to rebuild my RB26 and i have been given the option of using a stroker kit either 2.7 or 2.8 and i was wondering if its really necessary as i am only using Trust T517z,s i feel that the turbos would reach there max efficiancy before the stroker kit really was worth while. any comments or thoughts would be greatly appriciated. just one other thing i have friend who runs a similar set up as my self but still a RB26 and he made 380kw at the rears on 26 pound. will a stroker kit help any more than that? thanks heaps Lee.

hi there i know this is a long shoot, just wondering if you ever happen to come across any Bronze 19" or 18" Volk Racing CE28N (preferably 19's) or CR Kai 18" i dont think they come in 19's? really just looking for that style pattern in a 19 and bronze would be great thanks. otherwise if you can get a deal like this again please notify me immidiatly. something for the BNR32 CR Kai 18x9.5 +20 nice looking set. auction closes 29th Jan. expecting these to land for about $2k. are they standard injectors? and did they just start getting louder? usually the louder they are the better. are you positive its your injectors?

hey there i might have Blitz SS BOV to suit R32 GTR if your interested but im after the standard BOV for an R32 GTR complete with the elbow to fit in standard place.

sorry to repeat but did you say 294RWKW from the STANDARD rb25? meaning all internals are still dead stock cams head bolts the lot?

was it blowing any smoke? clear sign of turbo deternation if it was, check piping for signs of oil blow by this will tell you if there on there way out, but might even be just a boost leak. check all cooler piping and boost lines.

ok guys its time to put your thinking caps on as i am in a lil prediciment at the moment and it is time to freshen up the old RB and seeing i have just put Trust T517z's and tomie poncams and a few other lil bits i feel that the bottom end is probably in need of some TLC. Just a note this is a 94model R32 GTR with supposed 103,000kms on the clock. so here are the options and please note that both are going to cost similar amounts but i am aiming for reliability and performance (somthing that is very rare in modified cars). Opton 1: Full rebulid on current motor meaning CP forged Pistons and ring set, R.E.V I-Beam Conrods, TOMEI metal manifold gasket kit, HI OCTANE RACING rocket cover baffles, NISSAN engine gasket kit, TOMEI sump baffle, Nissan N1 Oil Pump, ARP 2000 Series Head Bolts, RB26 Cam Cap Studs Set and an R33 crankshaft. All will be balanced and blueprinted and some sort of strenthening process applied (cant remeber what its called somthing about freezing it all then zaping it hot again. cant remeber.) Option 2: Buy brand new N1 motor and put my turbos, cams and a new sump baffle in. well there you have it all feed back will be taken on the chin. thanks

hi all just wondering if anyone can shed some light on a question i am asking myself, what is the difference in the standard RB26 compared to the N1 motor? apart from oil pump and some head stuff are the internals much better? any specs would be great thanks.

how good will it look when they pull over a nice GTR on the side of the freeway!!! i cant wait i know ill be getting out for a photo op. hahaha

any ideas which friday Bass? would love to come down and watch. just one more thing and this probably isnt the section to post but, "with all this interest what are the chances of hiring calder for a skyline 400meter day?" just an idea im sure there are plenty of factors to think about but could it be done??? thanks

Well its official (sort of) GTR 94 is now off the road. So as i said in my last post i was ready to take the car to my mechanic and i did as some of you would know i live in Geelong and my mechanic is in Melbourne. So one sunny afternoon i begin my mission and it begins well witth just a gentle tap tap tap around the 3000rpm mark. so driving at 100 isnt really a hassel cause your sitting at around 2800 anyway. well 112 km later i arrive at my destination and things still look good, my mechanic listens and says "hmm sounds like a gungen pin" (sorry for spelling) so i say cool, but then i tell him the story about " car running on empty went to the servo, full tank of fuel drive 8 km and thats when the noise began" and he says " ETHANOL" thats no good i think to my self wondering why i let it run so low and why i went to a different servo in the first place than my usuall one. well anyway i relise that bottom line its gonna need a rebuild so i begin my journey home when i notice that the oil temp gauge is starting to read higher than its usuall spot, but i continue driving and make a quick stop at my tuners (not the fish ) and ask him to listen to it, he says "its deffinatly big end bearing and says you really shouldnt drive it home!" ok well too bad i gotta get home. so i continue driviving and now the noise sounds more like a jack hammer and its banging away anywhere from 2000rpm and up. sure enough 258km from when my mission started it turned to glum i pull over and the banging is now louder than ever and even at idol its not happy. So on a trailor and tow it home. Moral of the story dont drive when banging is occuring, and your not really gonna know whats wrong untill you open it up and take a peek inside. ive had 3 different options and i still dont know. one more thing dont ask your self "Hmm i wonder how much further i can get cause how long is a piece of string!" well thanks for reading i guess now you wont hear from me till its finished. good luck on all your travels. -

hey Turbz_13 let me know how you go im going to see my mechanic tommorow to get the low down ill keep you posted. as for everything else i already have the tomie metal head gasket and all the top end was recoed and valve springs head bolts and stuff replaced. i left the bottom end cause i didnt think it would go so quick but i knew it was comming just a lil sooner than expected. Ohh well motor out forgies, new crank, oil pump blah blah blah, the joys of owning a modified car just one more thing i wouldnt point the finger at the mods to your car as i know of a guy who spun a big end bearing on a standard motor with just over 80,000kms so its just the luck of the draw and thats cars! -

hey there i have just noticed this exact same problem it just started today as i was driving home, (sorry to hi jack the thread) i dont think its your turbos cause i just replaced my 2 months ago so im starting to lean towards pinging or big end bearing, does your car sound like its sucking more air aswell like a boost leak? i also found that im getting the same noise when reving in neutral but up around the 3000 to 4000rpm still not down low, im still running the standard ECU but it has been re mapped, to alow for the T517Z's im running but still only 14psi. if i just plant the foot when im driving it shows no sign of any problems but just powers on? -
nice im glad to see this has turned in to an english lesson , anyway i now think i agree with dezz "fake cruise and there were cops waiting there with a shit load of defect stickers...." ohh one more thing if you dont mind Jamezilla are your rims CE28N's in 18's or 19's im sure if i search around i could find out but if you dont mind?

hi guys i know there has been alot of discussion about 100 per cent and 98 per cent octane but this is only about 98. So i was wondering is Synergy 8000 and BP Ultimate etc etc all the same, i relise they are from diiferent companies but would they all use the same "ingredients"? I ask this because i find that when i run Bp Ulitmate it seems to leave dirty black stains on my rear bar but when i use synergy it dosent seem as bad. i have been trialing this for about 2 months now and driving patterns have been similar but im not sure what it is. Maybe im just being paranoyed??? Thanks anyway.
