Fuel pump is brand new Damn, what a hassle i specifically told him to undertune it so i can always hammer it...i dont care if its running 10 or 20 less hp just to be on the safe side

Thanks for quick reply. It cost me $400 to get it tuned, would the tuner charge me that again for a re-tune?

i just read some previous threads...it means "im knocking, therefore back off" why do you have to back off...? i cant hear it pinging...well ive never heard a car ping i know its meant to sound like metal on metal but all i can hear is the spool What should i do to stop it...? I specifically asked the tuner to undertune it so i can safely hammer it without worrying! Has he done a bad job if im knocking?

Got my power fc recently fitted and tuned. I noticed my engine liught flashing when accelerating hard in 3rd 4th or 5th. I wasnt sure what it meant, read a few previous threads and i realised its knock warning. I didnt have my hand controller plugged in, just plugged it in then took my car on the freeway accelerated from 4th all the way to around 5000+rpm saw the engine light come on agian. Read the knock value and it was 96. Question Is: is this really bad? Did the tuner do a bad job..? should i take it back and get a retune? Thanks for any advice

Solid info?... well i backfire all the time, both cracker pops and the deep pop, in first 2nd 3rd and 4th Im running a straight through with no cat. Pops/backfire is natural, dont worry, its better to run a bit rich then lean. Unless your detonating, coil failure etc and u lose power then u worry, otherwise keep driving hard and ignore the pops. your mechanic said dont worry unless your backfiring. ??? all skylines backfire its natural... what mods are you running? is it stock?
