Mebe this has something to do with him being the Ferrari F1 test driver for ages before scoring the race drive- Could it be that this experience gives him the edge over Kimi in being able to work with his race engineer more effectively to dial the car in to suit the track conditions and his driving style?

i'm no fan of V8 taxicar racing, and yes, the circuit looks kinda dull; but it's something different close to home, so i'd probably go and check it out (if it's cheap enough) shame the circuit doesn't run closer to the Homebush Bay pub ....
