  1. well, i only took the photo of that sticker today
  2. Made an impact like nothing else in the 70's. Would have looked from another planet back then /thread
  3. Jeep Cherokee soft-top a mate used to own, 0/10. Complete and utter steaming pile of shit. No redeeming qualities at all. Crap steering, crap gear-shift, crap brakes, rock hard suspension (odd for a fourby), bounced all over the place at pretty much any speed, and the finishing touch- the soft top would try to peel back on it's own at around 100 kays, and you had to hold the velco strap where it wraps around the frame to stop it from coming open. Worst. Car. Ever.
  4. too fkn right we do
  5. This arvo in Fairfield
  6. i wuz getting some lunch when the Evo rolled, damnit

  8. who said anything about servicing the fusker? i'd just drive it around for a few weeks then sell it for more than i paid for it
  9. that video was ghey 80% of it wasn't worth watching
  10. No one forgot it- He got a little taily turning in under brakes and ran out of room to gather it up before the edge of the track (understandable given the conditions) So that was 1 minor indiscretion versus how many full spins for everyone else?. Massa went for almost 3 full rotations on one outing (of the many)
  11. Cop that, haters What a race. It'll definitely go down as one of the most adrenalin pumping this year. I couldn't believe it when McLaren put Inters back on Hami's car at the second stop, but happily it didn't end up being a disadvantage when the weather took a turn for the better. It doesn't really need to be said again (but i'll say it anyway), but just how good is F1 racing now traction control has gone, especially in the wet
  12. saw this today. made me smile ad was shot mostly down near the eastern side of Darling Harbour and Hickson Road.
  13. no HD for me
  14. that's a BIG improvement on the previous 7-series rear with it's 'taxi advertising space' bootlid i'll still never buy one though...o.k- maybe in about 20 years at auction when it's worth $1700
  15. not likely not enough 'spectacle' ie: cars using other cars for some occasional high-speed panel beating
  16. I would have thought all the sponsorships/merchandising the 'big two' do would have been more than enough to cover the costs of racing and still turn a profit?
  17. The result I want at the end of the race- 1st/2nd/3rd Kovalainen, Webber, Hamilton... with Kimi a big fat DNF
  18. was some awesome machinery there yesty
  19. So what are the top 4 grid positions for tonights race?
  20. NSW is a lock to win this why? simple- this year is the Centenary of league, which originated in NSW, so it's the fairy-tale ending that to the series well that's my theory anyway. guess we'll know in about 2 hours...
  21. heavy/death metal is his usual playlist you'd never guess it to look at him. lol
  22. my $6 burger was tasty get one of those next time... or bring a sammich
  23. Great day today, perfect weather. Shame about Nates troubles re: stripping driveshaft spline on saturday, and having to replace the turbo today due to (we think) oil starvation You have to start young if you wanna be the next generation of Drift Queen Nathans daughter making broom-broom noises in daddies car Some ppl come more prepared than others to motorsport events... lol
  24. lol low-mounts will have boost before 4000rpm look- B.S.T's are unbeatable for budget outright power and drag-racing, but low-mounts pwn for throttle repsonse.
