  1. that third shot (although a little blurry) looks mad. similar to robot welded. you obviously know your sh*t when it comes to stainless welding
  2. i'll second that- if an RB30ET rear main seal will fit an RB26 (i can vouch that it does), the starter motor should be all good.
  3. oil prices are based on greed, pure and simple. a result of the 'market system' that is supposed to work so wonderfully for the consumer, but in reality just slavishly follows the desperate need for corporations to post ever greater year on year profits. there are enough known oil reserves to last another 100 years easily, even given the projected future requirements of China and India. apparently future discoveries will add hundreds of billions of litres more to the reserves as well reducing overall consumption won't have any effect whatsoever on reducing pump prices. none. if the whole world started using a lot less crude oil, the producers would just increase the price by the same percentage that consumption drops, to maintain their profits. sydney water pulled exactly that trick a few years ago after the 'save water' campaign was succesfull- water usage dropped 12%, so they put water rates up by 12%.
  4. same result as dividing by zero...

The standard 360 Modena is the best sounding Ferrari V8 i've heard (the CS sounds like an old 1100 with an aftermarket pipe ) still waiting to hear an F40 in real life... *sigh*
  9. wrong. stealerships make an absolutle packet out of servicing cars they've sold. especially when you factor in all those expensive 'genuine' fitlers and fluids.... cracka please- sif compare a 'built in a shed' Ultima to an R35. one's good for nothing but lapping circuits, and the other can do the daily grind easily and still be quicker than an Ultima
  10. lulz, you won't expect to spend all day every day getting pulled over for 'random' roadside checks if you do though...
  11. lol there are a good number of morons in Punchbowl- but i reckon that's all put on
  12. the RTA won't issue any offensive plates (well, ones that are obviously offensive)- so you'll have to broadcast your love for peen some other way...
  13. Saw a brand new black 430 Scuderia (and a 'normal' F430) parked outside the Ferrari stealership on William St in East Sydney today. It had dark bronze racing stripes to match the factory Scuderia wheels. Looked well 'ard.
  14. would that be possible?
  15. i spotted her someone just posted it on youtu....awww, FOM got it stooged /jk and golly-gosh, didn't that work out so well for his championship hopes. Webby finally has a car able to crown him WDC thought most. ahh well- at least he got to drive across the harbour bridge in it faster than anyone is likely to ever do (without being gaoled...)
  16. and why is that, exactly? given that they both started on the front row, and we're talking Monaco, that should have almost guaranteed them a win
  17. i only read page 26 (40ppp) before i started with those replies make it up to you next time babe. x oh i lolled what was he doing when it was time to un-lap himself???
  18. Does he go to Fitness First under Mac Bank? Looks to be holding gym gear... lol Albert
  19. it was a strategy that wasn't. lol. all the various teams computing couldn't have seen that one. pace car outings, ppl n00bing their cars into walls (Piquet on dries on a partially wet track- seriously guys; w.t.f?) and dubious weather forecasts all played merry hell with any conventional strategy. made for interesting viewing though either the '08 Ferrari chassis doesn't cope well with Monaco and wet weather... or they're both a bit rubbish in the wet with no t.c would have thought Kimi would be used to racing on low-grip surfaces, being Finnish n'all....
  20. Was too tired to be bothered firing up the laptop last night after the race to comment- so please forgive the lateness of my reply i notice there how you rib LH for his single discrepancy, yet conveniently omit the numerous unforced errors by both Ferrari drivers...hmmm..... i thought of all you hami-haters and LOL'd heartily as soon as they'd said that. i think i heard you dry-reaching from here, Michael. lol and yes, Sutil got robbed blind. on that- as much as i dislike KR and Ferrari, the fact he managed to not end up in the wall after the mother of all tank-slappers coming down into the chicane was amazing. the slo-mo replay had me spell-bound. still, he was only solving a problem he'd created for himself MOAR! that was odd. why the hell did it take him so long to go past the pace car after the okay was given?? he casts one hell of a long shadow. F1 racing magazine just ranked him greatest driver of all time (as is my opinion). could only imagine what the record books would look like these days if his career wasn't cut so tragically short. --- anyway- apart from that one error, it was a great drive by Lewis. who could have thought that it could have worked out so well 'stategically' for him in the end. haha. brilliant pace at the end of the race on the dries, to all those that still somehow doubt his skill, only to have all that excellent buffering work snatched away by the pace car. oh wells. would have been nice to see Kova add to McLarens constructor championship points too....meh, i guess.
  21. Here's the P1 Club's 997 GT3 illegally parked outside Mac Bank on Bond street today good to see some member finally grew some balls and decided to use some points on it also spotted a middle-aged attention whore driving down most of George street in his Ferrari 360 spider with the top down, in first gear, at about 5000rpm. owner is a tool, but the car sounded sweet all the same
  22. Spotted a whole heap of R33's (as per usual) that i couldn't be arsed getting the regos of. lol
