  1. if the intercooler is more efficient, you will have more power at the same boost level (with tuning tweak). simple
  2. good value this- they are over $440 new
  3. how much power are you looking to make Stanzor? they do work extemely well, but are probably overkill for your application. (plus the CDI r.f will likely mess with ur stezzo)
  4. rolf nice chop
  5. the suspense is killing me
  6. http://www.nissanusa.com/titan/ anyone know much about this 5.6L DOHC 32V V8? i think the engine code is VK56DE makes 236kW (meh) and 515Nm (impressive) standard just wondering if anyone has seen 'em modified/fitted to cars in AU?
  7. The BOV will suck air in under vacuum at idle- I'm willing to bet this is what is messing with ur idle stability if you are still using an AFM
  8. lol 'your 4-studness signifies your car is weaksauce'
  9. Straight 6's are soooo 20th Century dood =P lol
  10. Getting the wheels aligned and adjustable arm geometries set properly (ie- by someone that actually has a clue) will make things better with regards to tram-lining, and avoiding use of overly wide high-grip tires will help to minimise it too.
  11. How come no one started a b'day thread for me?
  12. lol thanks guys brutality here i come...
  13. feels like something will break if i'm anymore violent with it! i even loosened the reach adjuster on the column off so i could 'slide-hammer' the wheel when pulling it back so you're sure there's nothing else that needs undoing?
  14. so i've undone the centre lock nut and the three little grub screws underneath the horn button on my R32 GT-R, but the wheel still seems to be held on by something or other. anyone know what else i need to do to get it off? or is it maybe just wedged real tight on the steering-column?
  15. you make a good point. people would prolly but Gallardos if they had an atmo V6 if the still looked like the way the do again, valid arguments
  16. haha- cheers Liz. even if it is about an inch too high and battle scarred
  17. gearwhine f.t.l sounds like driving around in reverse
  18. no chance whatsoever of that actually being the case look- Audi owns Lamborghini. they wont put a car into production with those specs at that price that would wipe out Gallardo/Murcielago sales now, would they? also, just examine the market- an SL65 AMG Merc has TT 6L V12 with 450kw and it costs around $470K. how would one german manufacturer be able to produce a car with the same power as another, but with a more sophisticated drivetrain, and then have it cost around $200K less? production version won't make more power than a Gallardo. guaranteed
  19. BBE- start a class action against the makers of Slick 50
  20. i were hoping it'd just be all dark gloss black
  21. My old Datsun 1600 (my first car) had huge old-skool bonnet pins- never had any problems with highway patrol. but things were different back in teh mid 90's....
  22. results on Ultimate 98, for a bolt-on equipped car mainly city, light throttle = 300-350km on a tank " " hard accel more frequently = ~250km mainly highway, no boosting = 550+km (i reckon i could get well over 600 on a long drive at continuous speed) hooning = very few km/tank they'll never match a Yaris for economy, but like Steve said, it's hardly the point of a GT-R.
  23. make the loaner car the 'boosted zed' mobile itself and i'm in
  24. not enough 'zorst noise turbo spools hard though
