  14. I had a nrma inspection done...very good, but the only things they dont check are cylinder compression and sludge on oil pump pickup as stated down the bottom. I didnt bother but getting a workshop to do a compression test would be worthwhile. out lenno
  15. cool... thanks dude, and now that u mention it i'd say the compliance people are responsible for my farked mirror...... keep us posted on how you go getting your mirror apart, and hopefully fixed catchya lenno

  17. chicane, i have the same prob with my passanger side mirror which made a bad noise when folding out once then never folded out again... but still folds in, i just pull it out by hand, drivers side perfect. I've also tryed pulling it apart and got to the point where u are, ive been meaning to ask nissan for a look at the photos of it, also just curious about the mirror defogging, do you have a switch to turn this on ? cheers...lenno
  18. hey guys thanks for the help, but really i'm no closer to making my mind up.. either go the whiteline kit or get the shocks and springs seperate, $200 saving. also if the dude i'm taking to outta syd it right, trying to ring him atm...he sells the bilsteins for $441 a pair, which is the cheapest i could find. cheers
  19. guys, i went with jet hot coatings to get my dump pipe coated in some sort of ceramic coating inside and out, handles up to about 1000 deg, and they say it retains the heat in the pipe and out the exhaust...cost about $80 plus postage, and you get a free recoat if the product does happen to fail, there number is 1800700468
  20. hey guys, last post i was talkin about getting a whitline spring/shock package, well i've been looking around, getting prices etc and have found that really only koni, kyb and bilstien make shocks for the r33 and all are standard length. Well now i'm thinking i'll just buy the bilstiens and some king springs (30mm lower) save about $200, a local suspension joint told me that they rang bilstein and they say that the standard length bilsteins will have no problems with 30mm lower springs. i'm sure bilstien wouldnt make a special shock just for whiteline as the whiteline kit is about 30mm lower also. Anyone looked into this or done this type of suspension setup ? feedback ? cheers lenno
  21. all seatbealts are changed to australian spec when the car is complianced, along with lots of other little things...unless ya car wasn't complianced correctly, ive seen heeps of dodgy lookin cars around, basically done on the cheap to cut costs... lenno

  24. hey YBSLO4, are these piping kits going to come over the top and around to the throtlebody, or are the going to hook up to the std cooler pipes under the guard where the std cooler is ? lenno
  25. thanks heaps for all your help guys... i think i'm sold on the complete kit which seems pretty good value for what you get, bout $1800 unfitted, but i can tackle most of this. I dont think the hicas lock will be needed at the moment. cheers, lenno
