  1. I'd say you should talk it down to 32-33k... for those kms that sounds like a fair price, besides, he wants a quick sale LOL
  2. Huge thread (do a search for Driveway Problems) about driveway problems when I first got my Skyline (well after I lowered it )... I have one bloody steep driveway and if it weren't for the planks of wood, my front bar would be no more Pros for the wood: 1) They are very very cheap, use offcuts from anywhere 2) Quite light and not too hard to setup Cons for the wood: 1) Not good in the rain 2) Gets bloody annoying when they start to rot away 3) Depending on your road surface, it will start to destroy itself. My next plan is to get some steel drainage vents (maybe 2m x 1m) which I can mount on top of the driveway as stated above in a previous post. Not only will this get rid of most of the cons, but will also make a nice addition to my shoddy driveway Just some thoughts...
  3. I feel for you all In Sydney, you'd seriously need to be blind to miss all the signs up to the camera. Mind you, heaps of people still get done for it
  4. Could be a little different in VIC but a camera mounted in the cop car? Surely that can't be right... In NSW there has to be ample amounts of warning before you even get close to the fixed speed camera. Someone car to explain?
  5. What are some other specs for the car? Bit hard to give you an answer based on two details...
  6. Is that another R34 owner I see in the North? The position of "best friend" is still open last time I checked - conditions: must have R34
  7. You just wait till I get my full colour Pioneer deck, splits, amp and sub in Then we'll see who's thumping *go the girlfriend and her birthday present notes* :)
  8. Ordered my 600x300x76 over the phone just then... can't wait to get it Ordered over the phone as my delivery address was different to my billing address and PayPal wanted to be difficult about it Nonetheless, all good now... should get it soon
  9. It should be going all weekend as there is quite a bit of work to be done on both RX7 and R34
  10. Alright people... another update on the Skylines Workshop Days on the Northern Beaches (Not jus an oppurtunity now ). All work is performed at Golf Cart World Performance and this is what's lined up for this weekend! 2 cars (RX7 and R34): 1) Both cars getting FMIC kit installed 2) R34 getting SAFCII installed 3) R34 electrics to be played with Test runs for both cars... ample food and drink courtesy of Caltex and McDonalds... and overall good times to be had. Will update again with the times chosen, looking like an all weekend event~
  11. Have a look at this thread; http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...ST&f=21&t=84550 We're all based on the Northern Beaches and our next get together is this weekend (two cars getting FMIC put in). Feel free to contact me for more details, you can come down and have a chat or find out what's going on with your 32 (one of the guys has a 32 down here).
  12. Looks really good... can you post up how long it took to install the FMIC? I'm getting mine done next week DIY so I'd just like to measure up some timeframes!
  13. Where would one go to get one of these? I hear that they're a few different kinds you can get?
  14. Hey next day out should be to install the SAFC2 or the intercooler, will keep you posted!
  15. Pardon me for being completely dumb... but what do coilpacks do? And what is the advantage of having Splitfire over Nissan?
  16. Restless 33: You'll notice from the photos that the pressure tube is housed in the black tube. The pressure tube is clear and very very soft (this will definitely be crushed by the door and cut the air). The black tube is made from very hard PVC plastic and withstands heaps of pressure (I stood on it and it didn't deform). Furthermore, the door seals are made of soft foam which wraps around the tube when the door is closed. There is no pressure loss as the aftermarket gauge reads exactly what the stock gauge does (only more accurate with more numbers). Hope this helps - the PVC tubing can be purchased at any hardware store... I just used whatever was lying around at home!
  17. Haven't had time to hook the electricals up... will do so this weekend - should just hook it up to the fuse box under the bonnet. Will keep you posted...
  18. Thanks to SnRuB for some pointers... I am now closer to getting my FMIC into the R34 - thanks dude!
  19. Just purchased one today from Greg... haven't received it yet but I will comment on Greg's service - it is fantastic! Not only did he explain everything to me, but he was helpful enough to offer advice on my FMIC project! Will post again when I receive the item, but from what I can tell so far - I'm not going to be disappointed Cheers Greg
  20. Does this $175.00 include delivery? I tried to find out on the PayPal thing but it won't let me in for some reason... If it doesn't work, can I call you up during business hours and give you CC details over the phone? or maybe even just DD it into your account... How do you deliver within Sydney NSW? Post or Courier?
  21. Yeah got to wait till the next oil change to do the filter... unless I want to spend another 50 on oil LOL Probably be putting in a SAFC2 soon or maybe an intercooler if I can get the right parts and prices for one.
  22. What size intercooler did you get Adam? And did you have to spend heaps of time getting all the crap out at the front of the car? I'm planning on doing it soon, just need to shop around and pick up a decent kit - installation will be done by a few mates so that should be ok!
  23. If you figure it out and get quality results... I'm up
