Why go Pretty Motorsports when not everyone female is pretty? Furthermore, some males these days are way prettier than some girls that I've seen around (with all the metrosexual crap going on) but you are a females only club... How does the name PRETTY MOTORSPORT show that? I think a much simpler name would be FEMALE CAR CLUB, or if you really want to widen the scope, FEMALE CLUB!

Sorry to be a pooper here... but the newspapers have also been mentioning the Tunnel Toll Cameras being OFF for the last 3 years; anyone been a cheat? I'm only asking because 1) it's all very good we are not paying for the tolls, but 2) in the end, all the other tax payers (including yourself) have to pay for the revenue loss!

Thanks for all the help guys... here's an update, might be the reason for it all. I've noticed that on flat surfaces the puttering is non existent and it is all smooth. However, when I go up my driveway which is like 45 degrees, that is when it happens. Could this be simply due to the fuel delivery or the fuel sensors affected due to the angle? Thanks guys for your help in this!

Yeah I've got a new set or Iridiums waiting to be put in... but it the small puttering noise a normal thing with aftermarket exahusts? Or is it supposed to be a constant uninteruppted note?

Hey all, Ever since getting my cat back put on I've noticed that there is some strange sputtering that occurs when I have the car in PARK or idle. The car is an R34 GTT Auto and the system is a cat back TRUST. The sputtering is ever so slight, but noticeable. The idling seems to hold for three seconds then have 2-3 small sputters then hold again. Almost like a "PUT PUT.... PUT PUT PUT.... PUT PUT" Any help guys? I've already resetted the ECU to relearn the dynamics with the exhaust. Could it be something that's about to give up? YOUR HELP IS MUCH APPRECIATED!!!

Yeah same dude... I was driving at 40kmh and full trying to get the gears up. I just sat there pushing and pushing the gear stick but nothing. Got kinda worried up until i figured it out

I don't usually do a lot of internet trading, I find it very very insecure. However, since I was able to see SAU trader ratings and comments before - I did trade with other members, successfully for that matter! Please bring those ratings back. It just gives a peace of mind knowing that others have traded with those members as well and have had successful trades! If it can't be brought back it'll be an open for all playing ground where I'm sure a lot of traders would be quite reluctant to buy/sell.

You need to either push the paddle on the steering wheel 3 times to get it from 4th to first, or move the gear stick 3 times to get it from 4th to first. That is the one downside. Also, another thing that I've noticed is that you can down shift on demand, but you cannot up shift on demand (particaularly going from 3rd to 4th). You need to be at a certain speed or RPM (not sure which one) before you are "allowed" to shift. I believe the SHIFT KIT fixes this slight problem.

Yeah just read that article... should make it clear. My aunty and uncle own a camera shop that also does a lot of processing... they've explained that most police photography to do with Speeding and Tolls are all digital (makes sense as it can be relayed instantly). However, since it is not film, it can be altered... hence the situation here where all the people caught on digital photos can say it has been doctored. No one can be going fast enough to see all the other cars blurred out surely!

TIPTRONIC ALL THE WAY! My only beef with it though on the R34 is that you have to turn the steering wheel paddles ON before you can use them! Someone should make a mod where the paddles light up!

Some of you people from WA might not know this,... but in NSW (over the last two days) the news is that all speeding fines caught by camera can now be potentially reversed! Now, that's got to get a few of them sacked! Or at the very least it will make them do real policing to catch the real criminals!

HSBC is where I got my personal loan from for the 34... they are one bank that are very very carefree with their loans. The bigger options there allowed you to borrow up to $70K through a personal loan. Now I managed to get the full price of the car out of them with no loan payment history, no credit ratings with any other institutions for a period over 5 years, and I was 19! The only thing going for me was the job. Now tell me times have changed!

Point 1: There are many banks that offer personal loans over $20K, you just need to have the right credentials and come across as someone who the bank can take a risk on. My 34 was purchased with a full personal loan, no security on the car. All that was required was proof of income. Sure it's like 1-2% more interest p.a. but if you read the terms and conditions between both personal and car loans - the benefits soon become very obvious. Point 2: I can name at least half a dozen brand new cars that have been recalled over and over again! Agreed Eric;! Most kids out there want the bling and the fast cars but when it comes down to handing over the plastic notes, they just can't! And you're right, maintenance and running costs soon start to add up very quickly! Saying that, even if you had the money, it all depends on what car you really want in the end. Would you spend $1million on an Enzo? Even if you had the money?

There would be more 34s if people started importing more of them... problem is that most dealers are under the impression that they are still "too expensive" for the stereotype customer. I guess the times are changing and $30k is not much money these days. Saying that, mine cost $28K and it was in absolutely fabulous condition.
