  1. This is a Txt from my engine build on 2mm+ IN 3+Ex: Yep it would fit in the chamber. Better if it was a 88mm bore( sleeved block) No point though as I can't remove that much material in the port or I'll find water Actuators went from hks to 19 and now to 25psi units exhaust side must be getting close to the limits. Quite excited to get it on e85 should be faster again with the extra torque from the fuel and push closer to 500kw if the turbos hold up..
  2. Boost pressures were 23psi 410kw 26 467 just upgraded my actuators for a 3rd time should get close to holding 30 now.. Had a much as 34 down low but got bad bleed off back to 26 up top..
  3. 4. I agree cams with around that duration just seem to work really well on a mildish setup Im on 260 10.2 270 10.2 tomei's. After cam timing was setup these cams are very very lumpy 2.6LTR twin 2530's 410awkw on 98 467awkw race fuel We pieced this combo together in 2004 and to this day i cant bring myself to change a single part of the setup it destroys other gtrs with big single's and 150+hp.. Nice info matt...
  5. Looking at the specs sheet the new 1600's should be a direct replacement for the old indy blue injectors including the wiring plug aswell. Also word of advice buy genuine ID injectors! I unknowingly purchased some bosch 2000's had troubles tunning them decided to flow check and found as much as 10% flow difference at low duty cycle on one injector..
  6. 13 boxes I'd say more adult match maker!!
  7. Im sporting the old dinosaur aswell i love it havent touched my tune in 3years! Another option is the new ID1600 im looking to go down this path when i switch to ethanol very soon http://www.injectordynamics.com/ID1600.html Direct replacement no adaptors necessary

  9. The 2000's idled better than the 800's on E85 or 98? And which ECU do you run? Cheers
  10. Bare block with 4wd adaptor. Theres alot of $ already invested in machining. The blocks purchased from rips normally don't come tunnel bored. You need to also factor in freight + duties. It owes me alot more than the asking price.. Cheers

  15. Quote from Geoff on another forum. "i will get two sierra sierra dynoplots posted on full-race.com later tonite. The comaprisons are of the 8374 and the 9180. dyno runs were all done on a mustang dyno at 2bar boost, and the cam gears were played with a bit. Unfortunately these were some new cams they were testing out and not the actual cams that are in the car for race day, so tq was dropping off hard and the turbo wasnt spooling as early as they liked. I asked them to redyno the car with the right cams and we will get those dynos updated".
  16. Thats awesome news for PFC users.
  17. Whats the tuneup like on the 2000's with 98 octane or do you run 100% E85 now?
  18. I attempted to enter a negative figure into a DD Dyno to check correction factor but it didnt except it. I tried IT of 1 dergree C, 12.5 and also tried unplugging the temp sensor and got the following corrections. Wishful thinking but imagine if the dyno was removing another 10% from the figure...
