  1. The tuner said he didn't notice any shuffle or surge at all.
  2. Standard setup besides a set of Splitfire coil packs.
  3. At those levels i'd imagine it would be getting quite high and pushing the 25psi actuators open. Ill let my mate know about the actuators if he feels like pushing it further although he did say its plenty quick now so I'm sure it'll stay like this for a bit.
  4. If only it was a easy fix the falling off in boost problem bloody twins
  5. What did your setup make paul with the -5's?
  6. Results from the 2530's with the GTX67 front wheels. Ran 28psi and the 25psi actuators wouldn't hold so they left it there. 618hp was a 33% toluene tune and 661hp was E85 on the 2530's.
  7. Thanks a lot mate. DTP motorsports made the door trims. Started with carbon fibre matting on a roll and turned into what you see. Hoping to run some 8sec passes would be nice.
  8. Just in the process of moving shops so it'll couple weeks away before the dyno rooms up and running.
  9. Just a wash now and she's ready for tuning.
  10. The tuner just moved locations their re-opening tomorrow ill be visiting them in the morning to get this thing on the rollers asap.
  11. Turbine wheel slightly bigger than a GT47 with a 86mm front wheel all stuffed inside a baby GT42 frame. Fingers crossed it spools with a 100shot
  12. Had been thinking it looked a bit ugly might have to replace it with something a bit nicer.
  13. JHH engine. Tomei 260 10.2mm inlet 270 10.2mm exhaust, 1mm overiszed inlet, 2mm oversized exhaust valves ported head to suit. 4" exhaust. Runs 135mph at 460.
  14. This is my old car i sold to a mate thats done the upgrade.
  15. 2.6L. Made 430rwkw on pump and 460 on toluene. This time it'll be on E85 so it should be interesting what it makes.
  16. HKS 2530 upgraded to GTX67 front wheels. No other changes have been made to the car besides the front wheel upgrade. Dyno updates coming in 2weeks.
  17. Yep been progressing slowly but surely. Under dash harness re-pinned for the M150 and re-installed into the car. Lucky we did bulk head connectors on the firewall made removing the harness easy and saved engine harness removal. Final fitment of the oil and fuel pumps. Oiling system completed. More updates tomorrow.
  18. Think we've had this discussion before lol. I've varied 5+mph with same power and in my opinion theres more to drag racing a manual GTR then making x amount of power and running x MPH. Powerband, driver, gearbox are big factors. Now if the car went out and trapped 120 obviously somethings up but if it went out with a slipping clutch stuffed transfercase and ran low 130's on a terrible pass i have little doubt with a awesome clutch and a brandnew transfercase its a possibility it could run high 130's on a perfect pass with the same power. Now a automatic GTR that uses all of its power efficiently thats a different story.
  19. Just out of interest what setup do you have and what does it make on a dyno and MPH has it runs? Not having a go or anything just interested you feel so strongly about this.
  20. I hope so although i always seem to find something new and improved id like to add haha thanks mate. I really wanted to build this as a street going car but rules and regs and police just make it so hard now. Apart from the 1/4mile stuff it's just a car to go out and have some fun in, events like roll racing and powercruise both of which don't require registration.. Powercruise u can take passenger so that should be fun haha. What would've been cool are the Motive GTR drag battle and new 1/2mile but both require registered cars for insurance purposes unfortunately... Struggling at the moment to find room for a large enough air filter. The car was built with the intensions of not running one but i chickened out and purchased a 7" round 16" long K&N but looks like it won't fit where i was hoping without some more mods moving stuff around and re-coating the intercooler
  21. No real progress was made over xmas unfortunately way too much beer consumed What i did decide on recently was to upgrade from the M800 to the new M150. Unfortunately we needed to change CDI modules as the M150 wouldn't talk to the Motec CDI8... Yes i know New bits arrived today. And the good news is the car was delivered back to my good mate / fabricators last night to continue on with last few bits of work left. Updates over the next few weeks..
