i guess its a bit of a confidence thing, i was pretty messy last time and it rattled me a bit, still would like someone else to have a steer just to get some ideas on how it feels from a different pespective. If i can get a logbook sorted and the boys are happy to have me along id have a go.

i think someone who can steer could get my car down into the 10s, it would be nice to get some feedback from someone with experience also. if your short a car let me know Duncan, ill have to re-mount seat for you but was going to do that anyway. Just have to organise logbook.

ive got a feeling that the RBRs dont like the hotter temps, where as the Brawns are not affected as much. Means Dubi will be a tough one also.

i think that was the worst race i have ever watched.........boring. i cant remember any passing except for lap 1. Good result for Rubens though, what a f#ck up for Hamo. Dad wasnt happy.... RBR might just have been reeled in. or poor quali means for difficult race.

yeh, think they are heavy. i know yella terra re-designed them so would be interesting to see the new ones. i will be putting a set of Harland Sharp rockers this time though.

our diagnosis was confirmed today, the car was perfect. clean power curve through too 7000rpm and beyond. put some fuel back in here and there but overall tune was good. Running it a bit fatter for security but still making 400hp and 1600 lb of torque. So will be chasing rocker arms up this week. Fitted GTR Grille purchased off forum which looks great. Bar is in for repair. All is looking good for October track day.

fellow from Wollongong has one half done also, was originally started by Tony Rigoli. Not sure if its going yet but same deal, full blown drag car, caged but i think he was running a powerglide.

have narrowed missfire/harmonic down to the Yella Terra rocker arms after springs tested fine. Have re-installed standard arms as to run it on dyno on saturday and see if problem is gone, a little birdy told me that Yella Terra has re-designed this part number, nice of them to tell us. Bar is off and getting repaired, and will do engine cover soon, lots of track days coming up.....going to put a passenger seat in also as to get some driver tips this time, might need headsets though lol.

what do you use the car for? twins are there to reduce lag and kep some sort of mid-range torque. If it is a street car or track day weapon i would run twins, if its a drag car that you drive on the street once a month put a big single on it.

do we plan on inviting other clubs as well for some variety and numbers or will it be exclusive? I know when we were in the EH Holden club we would have our anual show but also invite other clubs, think even open too public entry, just gave people some other stuff to look at..........but judging was seperate.

yeh thats correct, so those who whant 18s wont have a drama, most teams still will have 17s lying around. i got 8 for $50 worth a phone call.

unfortunately local v8 ute teams sell these for $15 a tyre after 1 meeting, good for a couple of track days. let me know if you get stuck with them.
