ahh fun!! I have no idea as i have never encountered this before but as bigger pain in the arse it would be, would removing the compressor side of the turbo be possible with the exhaust side still fitted up? If so could pull it off then do the bolt up the reinstall the compressor cover....

the differnce between a rex and gt-r is 300kw is reasonably tame on a 26 as opposed to a lighter rex... it's good fun on the street tho

I'm currently going through the engine rebuild process (rb26) and will be putting in a set of tomei poncams 9.15mm lift 260 drg duration. Now i know i don't need to upgrade the valve springs but with the standard ones being 17 odd yrs old and with me wanting to to do hill climbs e.t.c and generally rev the tit's off it i think chucking in some upgraded springs will give me piece of mind. I'm at a loss as to which valve springs to get. Looking on nengun tomei have 3 different sizes starting at 10.8mm lift ones... do i use these or should i be looking for specific 9.15mm lift springs? There should be 3 marks on the belt itself, 1 on each cam gear and 1 on the crank pulley. To get a look at the crank pulley u will have to pull the harmonic balancer off. The 3 marks on the belt relate to the marks on the cam and crank gears. thing is as soon as the engine starts rotating these marks all go out of wack becuase the cam gears are a different size to the crank gear so the only way to be sure would be pull the timing belt off and re-install it. when my belt camr loos it was enough for the engine to totally lunch itself so i the fact u still have a working motor is proof enough that it should still be good.

Was a top cruise man, keep em coming. Just got to get the numbers up to keep it a regular thing.

it seems like it only cools the very centre of the disc... wouldn't it be better to have a duct cool the outer edge of the disc where the pads make contact or even ducting cool air into the the cooling vanes in the centre of the rotor? I reckon make somthing like a caliper that goes over both sides and the top of the rotor then duct cool air from the front bar into that... just my thoughts.

I'm after a n1 front bar and n1 side skirts for my 32 GT-R (I have the rear pods already). I was wondering where is the best place to source them as i know there are plenty of dodgy poorly made kits out there. Cheers, Rob

Yeh i have been going through these sort of drama's myself in a stock 32 gt-r i have big (prolly to big) 57mm pwr rad (i push the old gal pretty darn hard at tmes) the stock fan shat itself (centre started leaking) and at $540 odd dollars for a grnuine replacement i was keen to give the thermo's a go......... try and fit a decent sized thermo in the engine bay with 57mm rad.... why oh why didn't i just buy the 40mm one lol

not much point in selling the dumps sepratly as they are not the normal sized dumps they are unique thing that trust/greedy have done with longer than normal dumps, u need the whole set more or less. these are also available on nengun new for $771.44 +postage.....
