  1. yeh can vouch for the rbf600 fluid i bbq'd my brake pads (they turned white and crispy) but but the pedal never went spongy just didn't do anythign lol it's good stuff, unlike my pads.....
  2. yeh would be interesting to see how that would go down on ns.com
  3. R32 GT-R

    Cooked Brakes

    name says it all
  4. that link is for pre 1982 vehicles, thanks all the same. I'll dig around the cams site to see if i can find the after 1982 one lol
  5. put me down for one, R32 GT-R, pm me when you are ready for money and pstage details e.t.c
  6. just to go off topic for a while i'm working towards competing targa in a couple of years, what limits u using 2530's in targa? is it group n rules that they use? and where do u get a copy?
  7. could you not run a larger rotor with the 4 pot brembo's to give the same effect? or is the slightly larger physical size of the calliper and thicker rotor that help with heat dissapation that make it more worth while?
  8. the other thing i think worth mentioning is that although the g4's are 8 pot, each piston is very small it almost seems a comparitive force could be made by a big 4 piston i.e the stock brembo gear, it would be intersting to know the total surface area difference between the two calipers...
  9. I have recently put a set bilsteins very similar to the SK group buy ones and although I have litlle experience with suspension I am very happy with them. I was recently talking to one of the guys at fulcrum suspenion to and he commented that for the price and, bolt in and work, they are very very good. I also have a mate with them in a s14 and he is also very happy with there performance.
  10. I agree no to sure about the styling but from what I have been reading i'm sure it will have the performance of the gt-r badge.
  11. my souloution... save money (lots of money) buy a sexy stack dash and make sexy carbon panel to mount it in, can't say i have ever been real impressed with the stock instruments but i suppose r32's are getting a bit ancient now.
  12. yeh what on earth were nissan thinking when they put a ding dong in a GT-R or gts-t it makes me want to drive faster so i don't have to hear it as long lol
  13. by not working do you mean not registering at all or just not moving as the car gets hotter or colder? because once warmed up i'm yet to see a stock temp gauge on a 32 budge a mm my mate had his car up to 108c and the gauge just sat where it normally was if it wearn't for the after market comp we prolly wouldn't have noticed it was hot till it was a bit to late the gauge on my hyundai on the otherhand is excellnt, go figure.
  14. Here is some relevant threads on thermo fans. Makes for interesting reading especially when nissan quotes u $540 or so for a new viscous fan centre!!! http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...c=86108&hl= http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...=118101&hl= http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...=106010&hl=
  15. I'm the one with the gt-r reffered to in the top post to test the water pump i simply pulled the top hose off the radiator and checked for a continuous flow of coolant (which it had). So yeh suppose there could be a few half fins of the water pump left that don't do the job correctly but the fact that i can shove my hand in the engine fan and stop it with out any pain suggests either way it is a contributing factor that and it also appears to be leaking from around the shaft as it has a nice oily crud build up.
  16. Thats shocking ban his arse. Shame to I have these rims on my gt-r and they are very nice. When I put my car into the gutter they looked better than those and i promtly went out and baught new ones.
  17. I think the same goes with liscences these days. You guys down south are no longer able to drive turbo and v8 cars on your p's? Along with a heap of other rules when ur on ur p's. The way I see it, if they want to avoid crashes e.c.t make it compulsary to complete and pass a defesive driving course to get ur liscence. I drive a truck around town all day every day for a living and the number of times I've seen a car that has locked up the front wheels on a roundabout in the rain and thus just understeered off the road or jump on the brakes when the car accidently goes sideways and ends up in a ditch. If these people knew how to handle there cars in a situation where they lost control they would be able to 9 times out of 10 avoid an accident. Instead they force people to never explore the limits of there vehicle due to fear of fines and liscence restrictions so when eventually these accidents happen people have no idea what to do to avoid hitting something.
  18. thoose rb26 cam and timing belt cover looks like the same ones listed on greenline here -->http://www.greenline.jp/catalogue/bccatpartlist.php?make=Nissan&carcode=R32C&intake=FI&category=engine they have the carbon and the kevlar ones listed but at abit over 500 big ones au so 300 is an awsome price for them. Are they the original hks kansai ones?
  19. 0.8 bar = 11.6 psi = a bit over 600 hg/mm wich is a bit over 6 on the gauge. so i definitly have a boost leak if that is what it is supposed to be.
