  1. HI, I've just purchased a Greddy full auto TT and need to know which wire coming out of the ecu is the speedo wire. I know i don't need it but i would love to use the 0-400M feature. If anyone could point me in the direction of a ecu pin out for an R32 GT-R or tell we which wire it is that would be great. Cheers
  2. I saw a very nice looking silver R33 in cairns with the n.o plate "SAU 33" I got a good look at it as it drove past, it looks a very nice piece of kit.
  3. I think the biggest "issue" would be the response. It takes a lot more exhaust gas to spin up 2 turbo's you could make the same power just by bolting on a bigger single that would support the same power as the combined 2 turbo's hell you probably make a little more power.
  4. If you run the same PSI (17) as you curently do won't it just make the same power more or less, just later it the rev range thus making the upgrade faily useless unless you run more boost?

Just my thinking but wouldn't they have the same total power apart from the obvious lesser exhaust restriction as SK said, but the larger turbo spool up much later in the rev range and the smaller turbo spool up quicker therefore the smaller turbo would give the power quicker than the bigger one......does that make sense?
  6. Put in laymans terms HICAS makes the car easier to drive on the limit but not faster. So if you think you are good enough, lock it and you might gain a bit of lap time. It doesn't start working till you are aggressive with the car, so it won't help you park the car or get around the supermarket easier.
  7. i put a hole in my radiator on the excel doing reverse doey's on gravel (yes a was sober) it cost $120 to fix up and no prob's scince.

  9. I tried making a box car in 3d studio maxx once and quickly realised how much time and effort it was going to take and gave up after 5 attempts and before i turned into a hermit, so I can appreciate the excellent job you have done with that thing.
  10. How do you disable the AWD? is it as easy as pulling the fuse out for the attessa system? Also is possible to make it so you can control how mauch torque is going to the front wheels manually and still have the ability to go back to auto mode? srry i will stop going off topic now

Have you had a look at the trust t517z's, I read an article in HPI where they installed these turbos on a stcok GT-R with a PFC + exhaust and made 340 rwkw @ 22psi with more power created from 3500 rpm and no more than a 15kw loss anywhere in the curve from standard!! i'm not sure about the cost, but as they aren't ball bearing and are pretty small i would imagine they would come in pretty cheap. Also the stock injectors are capable of a total of 360 kw but this would be at 100% duty and not worth the risk but for the 250-300 kw you are talking about they should be alright either way 700cc is a bit over the top you could save some money there and put towards some 80 mm AFM's and a better fuel pump. Just my 2 cents
