  1. Good luck Simon, hoping for good results and no issues
  2. it will only be 3 blades being sent back. you guys all paid deposit ($65 and will be getting this back) except Simon & sinistar who paid the full amount + postage (i will give back your full paid amount + abit of the shipping). i will be keeping mine, and hanaldo will possibly be buying one. it may be possible to even fit it without the end plates, so if anyone is happy to keep these, i can give it to you at a discount price. please let me know if this is the case. Scott (75Coupe) i advise you to get your wing blade ASAP and try fit it, incase there are any issues i can return it as well. Thanks.
  3. u can easily fix that broken piece off with some tiger bond that's some shonky workmanship man, you really aren't having much luck with workshops in your area. time to move over to the cool side of AUS i rekon
  4. Hi SonnyQ, Thanks for the pictures mate, nice way to dress up the engine bay! UPDATE on the R34 OEM WING BLADES Ok, the supplier has confirmed that their wings dont use the standard end plates as they've been modified so they are longer and dont use the end plates, but as pictures show, it is stil a few mm shorter. i've raised the issue where he stated that it would use the standard end plates. So unfortunately it looks like it will have to be sent back for a refund. Now, whoever wants to still receive it, i can do so at a reduced price. If you want a refund, just let me know via PM. I will need to send the wing blades back to China and get the refund back into my account. I am so sorry for this delay and stuff around due to manufacturers error. Such a shame as it was the most popular item amongst the GB as well. I hope the next one goes much smoother which i see it should as every other product was fine apart from the wing blade. hanaldo; sorry mate, didnt get a chance to measure the blade for you, i will get it shortly. but i will try and fit it to my car as well, will probably use some washers to fill the gap.
  5. Wow, what a race. congrats tO Webber. bad luck to Grosjean lol Cry more hamilton; http://www.guardian....-mclaren-monaco
  6. saw the pics and vids on facebook, looked like an awesome event. ps: anyway possible to speak with the track owners/insurance to allow ext gate at track days if not then looks like i can only be apart of it if you guys need help on the day.
  7. wow, this is gonna be epic, good work driftmob! can i pay a deposit now and the final of the payment closer to the date? Cheers
  8. what an awesome vid! car is sounding and looking at its best i rekon.
  9. it was smooth and flat when it was machined as i felt them before it was fitted. my mechanic installed the brakes so i would assume there wasn't any issues as he didnt mention anything. gonna have to take it apart this weekend and get the rotors machined again.
  10. so i just changed to new RDA extreme pads for a street/daily car. they've had around 1000km on them and the rotors were machined as well, they are now showing weird wear marks on them, which i've never seen before. i think this may be the case why my brakes are squeeling so bad, it is very annoying, im going to try CRC stop brake squeel this weekend, rub the pads on some concrete and machine the rotors again and fingers crossed it gets rid of the squeel. in some areas, it is more shiney, is this an indication that they are glazed? If so, would glazed brakes contribute to squeeling and why would it get glazed so quickly. this is going off SargeRX8's thread in which he tried everything to get rid of the squeel but it still existed. It doesn't happen when in reverse or when braking up hill. Its quite embarassing driving my car when brakes are squeeling this loud. can anyone shed some light on this? Cheers
  11. LOL! cant wait for monaco this weekend!
  12. sure thing, let us ship out cars over to WA first
  13. yeah i hope so too, otherwise just leave it as is and time to enjoy. hows your car going?
  14. what makes you say its crap? making claims without any proof, i can say that mounting the gate on the turbo housing is crap too. just changed over to the anti-surge slot front housing, changes the induction noise completely, sounds pretty good. feels slightly more responsive in 3rd. going to Jez in 2 wks for touch up tune, hopefully can completely rid of the light surge in 4th and hit 21psi.
  15. cheers for the feedback gtsttrk, put up some pics han, ill get back to you soon, didnt get tiem on the weekend.
  16. please put up some pics Dom, i fitted one to a R34 GTR and it was perfect. the item can take a bit of flex for it to fit as it is in the nature of the part to be slightly flexed.warp esp with thin items like the exhaust shield. sikaflex/tigerbond would've surely been strong enough to make it stick. Han, ill get the measurements soon but its only a few MM longer than the standard on (not including end plates) see pics attached will keep you in mind, cause ill be doing the same minor mod to get it to fit as well and refunding everyone else if it comes to that stage.
  17. Thanks for clearing that up Simon! that's what i was told mate, like i said, i am working to get it rectified with thinner end plates so hold your horses and wait until i have a solution, otherwise if it does not fit, i will seek a refund from the supplier as he advise it would fit with standard end plates, and you can have your $125 and off you go. I understand PewPew, but please see my response above, the supplier is sending his version of the end plates, which i can only assume its a copy of the OEM but thinner to fit due to the longer length of the blade. i was advised it would fit standard end plates/caps so i will raise this issue ONCE i receive his version of the end plates and find that it does not fit. Will keep you guys posted. sorry for the delays. everyone else has received their parts except 75coupe, he hasn't responded.
  18. hey all, they've arrived but there's been a slight issue with fitment which i am working to get rectified asap. they don't fit using the standard end plates so i've asked the supplier to send me the end plates that come with it to suit the copy wings (which judging by photos they are thinner than OEM) so hopefully this will resolve the issue. You can fit it without using end plates but theres a 2-3mm~ gap on each end and i believe the end plates allow adjusatbility of the blade? i dont know this for sure as my wing is a fibreglass copy and doesn't have this function. if the end plates he send does not fit, then worst case scenario is to get a alloy metal plate made up for you guys and i will seek part compensation from the supplier to cover the costs of the end plates. The other altenative is you can shave off a few mm off the carbon blade so you can reuse the original end plates but you will need different bolts (the carbon blade is threaded for a 8mm size bolt, standard i believe is a 11-12mm) Sorry about the delay guys, im working as quickly as i can to get this issue fixed and the blades sent to you guys ASAP. Cheers
  19. hey guys, i will go through everything tonight and PM you all for payment of the remaining balance and give you shipping quotes. for all who's ordered the OEM R34 wing blades, there might be a slight issue with the design, not sure yet and i have emailed the supplier to see what they have to say. Once i hear from them, i will update this thread with details. for others who ordered everything else, expect a PM b tomorrow. Cheers
  20. that is actually a very good outcome! look forward to back to back results with the billet wheel
