the drivers side of mine has another little compartment that you can open to see what looks like the power steering resovoir. It has oil in it, & its a bit hard to follow the pipes, but i'll take a better look & some pics tomorrow

Hey Fellow Wagoneers, I thought i might design & make a set of skyline tail lights to fit the stagea. I'll use the standard skyline lenses, but make up a custom panel so they fit in where the tail light go now. Below is a very bad representation of what i'd like to do & if anyone is good at photoshop you could give me a better idea. so what do you all think? If they come out really well, i'll start making some more for sale if anyones interested. Regards, Jeff

Hey fellow wagoneers, as you all know i got my S2 stagea a couple of weeks ago, but i still cant work out how to check the auto tranny fluid level?? Also does anyone have an english version of the maintenance manual, & where can i get one. Thanks, Jeff

I saw a nice clean red S1 parked outside macca's at Toowoomba. I was going to go ova to say G'day but the misses was in a rush. Anyway, Nice car

Thanks 3intheback, it's all swapped back & i only took it for a little run with the hoses swapped, so hopefully no damage. (crosses fingers) I have done the solenoid wiring mod & it works quite well. Thanks again, Jeff

I won't mind testing it out for you. An objective view could be good for your software & if it's as good as you say it is, I'll do a write up of my experiance & send it to you so you can stick it on your website as a testamony . I'll make up a cable in the next few weeks & give it a go.

Hey fellow wagoneers, i was just wondering where can i get &/or how can i make a dataloging cable, & where can i get the software to use on my lappy for my S2 stagea? Just wondering cause i used to have one for my commondore & found it heaps of help, especially when diagnosing faults or working out accelleration. Any help would be appreciated. Regards, Jeff

I stuck this in the stagea forums & havn't got a responce, so i'd like to open it up to the whole skyline community. They have 4 settings on top of the struts, & come with the coil tension/ride height adjusters. I highly rate them for their comfort with decent handling/braking performance at level 1(softest), to the all out track setting (hard & fast with almost no body sway/movement whatsoever is the best way to describe it) of level 4.

My last car had nothing done to the outside, just the wheels, i spent all the money on the engine & driveline.It was hard enough to talk her into the wheels, I couldn't justify to the wife $600 for a front or rear bar & $200 for sideskirts, (let alone paint for them all) & then $3000 for coilovers. So this one having all that makes it look super tough, handle & brake great, & all i have to do is spend my pocket money on engine mods

might be a fairly common kit over there. I love it, It looks great lowered & with 17's. It means there is nothing i have to do to the outside of the car, just engine & exhaust mods.

can any tell me which pin the black wire goes to on the ecu? Just so that i can do the whole mod from inside the car? & why can't i just connect the 2 pipes up that go to the solenoid to get the same effect?

here's some pics. The first 6 are when it was @ the yard, then there are 2 when i bought it home. Sorry they are a bit big (all round 100k) The wheels are 17 x 8 on the front & 17 x 9 i think the brand is VESTA.

Hey SK, I am now the proud owner of a S2 Stagea, & i don't have the boost feed coming from the cooler pipe, it comes form the turbo outlet, & i'm not exactly sure where the restrictor is or if there is even one fitted? I disconnected the vac pipe to the BOV from the solenoid & stuck it on the tee. i got no idea how much boost it made, but DAMN did it go. Here's a pick of the standard setup with the locations of the pipes, how do i re-route them for about 10psi?

Hey Guy's after receiving my stagea i found out it had aftermarket suspension. can anyone tell me about GAB Sports coilovers? I know the fronts have 4 dampening adjustments in the top, dunno about the back.
