I think it is also a mentality.. People think they have Jap technology/cars, so therefore ONLY Jap made parts will do the job and will pay $$ Jap prices. I know this is going into a yellow VL, but i'm sure a malpassi will do the job for you, plus you can also have a fuel pressure guage screwed into it so you can immediately see your fuel pressure. and should work out cheaper

Daveo's spot on with the malpassi. I have gone back to using a malpassi because i can screw in a fuel pressure guage... I wasnt able to do this with the Nismo or Sard items.

i thought i had a receipt around here but i've misplaced it for now. Inlet and exh manifold gasket will set you back $185 together. That price was from Metro Nissan @ Windsor. I would assume the exh gasket to be more expensive.

I agree, yet at the same time disagree with getting out on the road to practice/get a feel for the car and what will happen. I have done it before and you do get a bit of a better understanding for whats going to happen or at what point will things start to get hairy. Tho in todays times u gotta be careful with all this hoon bullshit. aquaplane: more rubber = greater chance of it happening. You need to go over puddles not just wet roads... I cringe when i see water running across teh road! (N) as for learning... i learnt that 3rd gear, wet roads = 180km/h wheelspeed when wheelspinning... and it takes a lil bit of time for it to slow down too

Dan, Can i also get a price on a 1.06 exh housing for a GT35R ** as far as i know GT35R's ARE GT35/40 <- thats the old sk00l way of talkin about them sooky syphon wants an internally wastegated exh housing.. ie XR6T turbo... edit: your PM box was full
