SydneyKid: I want to enhance the size of my manhood with an impressive dyno figure >300rwkw from my RB30DET. Running a forged bottom end, stock 25 head, greddy plenum, GT35R, .82 housing... what sort of boost pressures would i need to run to achieve the enhancement i am looking for? you can take this to PM if you wish

I think i read somewhere that Fred Gibson said the reason why their cars didnt run BOV's was because they didnt expect the throttle to be closed that often Therefore a BOV may be better suited for a road car where the throttle body is open/closed a fair amount of the time. There is no need to come on here and act hostile and 'Mr Know it all" towards people with their own opinions... Maybe you should go tell nissan they are teh suck for putting stock BOV's on most of their turbo cars but meh this argument is done to death. Each to their own. I will be using one on my car.

discopotato03: pleeeease space out your posts more instead 1 massive paragraph ... please I think the GT30R will give a really solid hit from down low, it really depends on what size exhaust housing you are using. I take it you will probably be using the .82 housing? If so i reckon you'll be making a truck load of torque right from the beginning Ghostrider: - Go for a GT35R with .82 housing - Cooler seems a little thin to me, my old cooler was roughly the same size but 600L - 245's + rb30det + a Gt30 or Gt35.... traction wont be your friend at all

the CAS sits infront of the exhaust cam wheel, it's round and has 3 bolts (alan key bolts) holding it onto an alloy mounting bracket. i still want to know the differences in keys

Well i ended up taking mine to Driveline services at Archerfield. They were $100+ cheaper than their Brendale branch! The guy didnt even have to measure up, he just looked at my R34 yoke and goes "oh yeah 30 spline, same as a 300zx, replaceable with hilux ( i think) and the diff flange, oh yeah thats the same as a nissan navara, no probs, in 3" single piece capable of 9100rpm in top gear... thats about $420" prices i was given: Driveline Services (Archerfield) 3" single piece - $350 - $450 3" 2 piece - $450 - $550 Driveline Services ( Brendale) 3" single piece - $450 - $550 3" 2 piece - $550 - $650 pretty expensive, but i need a completely new tailshaft cuz none of the old bits can be usedf as they are pressed units, an di wanted them to be replaceable for if/when they snap

i'd take it the one with high pressure would be the one right behind the water pump?? i'm not going to run water lines thru the throttle body as its all on a greddy plenum, i just need to sort out water lines for my turbo return, and heater circuit.. that should be it with the cold start valve... is it always open or closed when disconnected? as i think that might cause an air leak if i dont have it plugged into the loom ?

cheers BHDave I thought one of them was a water line! silly me That information should come in handy I do have another spare set of exh manifold studs, so i'll see how i go with getting them out, i just dont want to snap one off. with the 2 water fittings on the block, which one is a feed and which is a return.... i really dont wanna plumb a return into a feed and have the flow clash Its on an Rb25 head with the rb30 block for reference. thanks again... any more info would be lovely
