  1. yep yep makes sense last time at repco they had 3mm hose and T piece i think, might go down there tmr and get the them and have a go installing it
  2. thought i seen the wing before and finalli found what type it is. normalli single wing it's a r33 gracer wing
  3. 1997 r33 gts-t 70000kms bought in 12/07 with 60000kms hope it isnt really 170000kms
  4. spotted alot of lines today can't remember all of them! - silver v35 and a black r34 at dfo outdoor parking around 4pm - white r34 with tommy kaira sticker on the rear i think it was stuck in traffic jam along parramatta rd 6pm - white r33 series 2 i think turning from broadway to parramatta road then towards ultimo i was behind may not have seen me - white r34 turning towards ultimo outside uts library
  5. i've heard that genuine bride rails would fit just jap seats by drilling 2 holes into the rails.. other alternative is look out for used recaros or brides with rails on them that bolt straight into the r34 less hassle?
  6. mite be cheaper just to get r33 gtr series 3 headlights which came with xenon headlights, i think i've read that they directly fit on series 1 r33 gts-ts but i'm not sure.. but prepared to still pay a heft price i think they are around 2k second hand
  7. can you be cheap and not solder the wires together but just wrap it together and cover it with electrical tape? i ask because i don't have a soldering iron and the only experience i have with soldering is year 10 electronics but didnt seem too hard
  8. okok thanks for that! just to confirm the right vaccuum hose to purchase is 4mm vaccuum hose? do they sell T pieces to suit?
  9. ok i got some shitty ebay boost gauge, i know it might not be accurate but i'm going to have a go at installing it. through reading other topics i know the vacuum hose for the stock boost gauge is the safest place for the T piece to be put in. what i wanted to know before i go cutting the vacuum hose is there any danger to the engine if this vacuum hose falls off other than the stock boost gauge not working from what i read it would suck air on idle i.e. negative vacuum? also if later down the track when i purchase a better name brand boost gauge could i just remove the vacuum hose on my ebay boost gauge and plug it straight into the brand name boost gauge for it to be working? thanks for any help, haha i know i'm a noob with cars but just dont want to destroy my baby
  10. yer i've only been pulled over once for a "random breath test" but i guess my situation was pretty sus haha. Had 2 friends in my back seat sleeping so could look like they were knocked out. the funny thing was i accidently stalled the car when i pulled over haha. asked what i was doing late at night, where i was going, breath tested and left. been through a couple breath testing stations no problems.
  11. well atm ive got 18x8 +38 and 18x9 +38 fronts are much more sunken then the rears. i've been told 18x8.5 +35 and 18x9.5+35 will be pretty much in line with guards and should fit without guard work so i guess anything from +30 - +40 should be fine with the widths of 8-8.5 front and 9-9.5 rears. i'm no expert but this is what ive found just searching around
  12. just a few shots i took today some came out quite nice well in my opinion haha
  13. just jap universal ones would require welding and modification. while bride rails if you get the ones suited for r33 should directly bolt on
  14. hmm i guess i'll jus settle with 18s since its more common and be easier to fit. im thinking of going 18x9+30 and 18x10+30 stick out of the guards by a little hopefully
  15. okok thanks for that if those offsets are for sitting flush with the guards i mite go a bit lower in offset so its sticks out like 5mm so something like 19x8.5 +25 and 19x9.5+30 and hopefulli i wont hit the guards when i put the dampers on the hardest setting
  16. i'm looking at getting some meisters for my r33 looking at 19x8.5 or 9 at the front 19x9.5 or 10 at the back what kind of offset is required? it wont be slammed i want to roll the lip on the guard heres how it rides atm wit 18s 265s on the rear and 235s on the front no idea on offset of rims
  17. thats probably "R33Turbo" bought a bov from him. You might get a reply faster if you PM him
  18. i wanna get black meisters and hmm according to offset calculator if i get like 18 x 8.5 +15 for front 18 x 9.5 +20 for rear i would get 235s for the front and 265s on the rear for tyres it would be similar fitment and it seemed you only needed lipped guards which is as far as i want to go in regards to guard work! but dezz seemed to need more guard work with 18 x 9.5 +22 on the rears ah im so confused
  19. hey man! i'm good how are you? still havent installed the bov yet haha too lazy yer starting to not mind the gap i guess i was a bit too excited waiting for it and expected to go down all the way and was disappointed when i received it
  20. are the universal seat rails u can buy individually for 175 each the same ones you get with the jjr buckets??
  21. ah ok jus wanted to make sure that it didnt screw all da way down so i didnt get ripped haha yer mines nice and tight theres bout 2cm gap im ova it now!
  22. just got clear indicators for my white r33. looks alot nicer! but need to get some amber leds to replace the orange bulb! heaps easy to install no need for screw drivers or anything
  23. ok i jus got a nismo chrome gearknob installed it but doesnt go all the way down to the gearboot! i was wondering if its suppose to go all the way down? anyone got pics?
  24. well it adds more character to the car! but the downside is you gotta learn what you can make without smashing the front bar and what angle you need to take. mines pretty smashed up now so i dont really care when it scrapes
  25. wow your r33 looks exactly the way that im heading! jus hav to save for some black meisters and finish off the 400r kit. you even have the black end plates and wing blade on your gtr wing would you mind pming with more pics from different angles? thanks!
