nice car. too bad i missed out on seeing it on topgear ><;
but the thread title reminded me of that yellow r33 gtr which was tested but the original top gear!
ok i'm bumping this 3 year old thread as i want to get more information about this place as a workshop rather then importer.
so can people give me RECENT dealings with this workshop good and PM ME THE BAD.
please don't tell me to search as i've done that and it brings up old threads although they may be valid but also the people who work there may have changed and the information isnt as effective.
the series 2 bar wont fit as you would need the series 2 headlights and bonnet.
also i think ur missing the stock sideskirts and rear pods which will help match the lower front!
but i think your front bar actually is just the m spec front with added lip? actualli i'm not too sure it could just be the normal series 1.5 front
this won't fit the s1 as the headlights and bonnet are different!
not too sure about how it would look i think it either sticks our further then the bonnet or is sunken in?
im looking for a stock bar but abit over my budget ><
tyre choice will be very important to help recommending an offset.
for rears to my knowledge from my own research but not experience
18x9.5+30 with a 245 unsure of profile this is what joeyjoejoejeojeojeoejoejoejoejoejoe i think is running on the rear this is a good balance of good fitment and nice stance
18x9.5+18 i think is possible if your willing to run like 215 or 225 tyre someone on here is running this width on the rear the tyre should tuck back into the guards but i'm not 100% with this
hopefully this gives you a better idea until someone with better knowledge that can guide you
if your willing to get r35 rims why not get some nice jap rims ce28n, te37, re30, meisters, professors, xd9s, gt-c
in better width and offset then the r34 gtr rims.
well thats what i would do if i had a r33 gtr.
i posted this in the other thread about the nismo gear knob
mines a r33 gts-t i think its the same
is this how yours sit?
i did something similar to above but instead i did it whilst the nismo knob was on and used blue tack to make it sit flush.
theres like this wedge thing inside the top of the gearboot which you need to make it sit higher to make it flush
heres example on my dildo knob which sits higher then the nismo knob which you'll see the gearboot is flush
yep i've read that these don't fit r33s
normally people just shave the nissan word on the brake caliper to make them fit or you run a spacer to fit 3-8mm will do
wasn't it a pewter s15 that got t boned by the stolen taxi.
driver in a critical condition and the passenger has been killed.
very very sad condolesenecs to the family.
or is this another incident?
xr6 turbo are noice
isn't it like 300rwkw with just exhaust, boost and a reflash of the ecu?
but i guess it suffers with wet weather/ dry traction compared to the GTR as well as the cornering ability
oh another heads up so you don't think you got ripped off these knobs dont sit flush shown below
what you do is basically undo the gearbox surround (unscrew the screw behind the ashtray pull off the surround)
then you just put tape around ur gearstick until it sits flush you'll understand when you do it
heres a pick of my other gearknob which sat even higher then the nismo knob
i actually bought this kit.
the knob is good quality but mines starting to fade pink o.O
also its screw on and its very tight and doesnt move!!
do it!!
not sure if the front will scrub
but rears should fit with a little tyre stretch say 235/40 ? i think thats the right tyre size someone correct me if i'm wrong
