  8. Can u fit the cas to the original motor and Line up tdc with the cover off. Then u can tell exactly where it needs to be
  9. Just run a wideband all the time. Then u can monitor whether the afr is richer/leaner every time u fill up and drive.
  10. Its mainly a problem at low end stuff regarding idle and light cruise. But supposedly ID 2000s etc are pretty good even at low rpm

  13. Alot of skylines have lean pop at idle intermittantly. I normally richen the idle until the popping stops. Why it happens with certain plugs i honestly cant answer that.
  14. There should be a missing slot? Unless it uses the slots inside that look to be the cam signal?
  15. So it just primed then nothing more? Does this happen everytime? Try powering the pump as u said and see what happens.

  18. Every rod is loose? U mean the bearings are flogged or the bolts are loose? U find anything out of the ordinary yet?
  19. U need to check if there is power at the pump when it doesnt prime. Just keep checking the power on start up until the time it doesnt prime. If there is power there like normal but no prime then u need a new fuel pump.
  20. Is ur ecu tunable? Some skylines do this. Its like an intermittant lean pop at idle? If it annoys u just richen up the idle a tiny bit or keep running the iridiums if thats what ur car likes.
  21. Did ur car stall? Did it all of a sudden just not start? Need some details. An ignitor amplifies a weak signal from the computer to a stronger signal to make the coilpacks send a spark to the plugs.

  24. Yep ^^^. At 100% the injectors are not closing at all inbetween cycles
  25. 4 seconds is normal but he should have checked it during cranking and when it ran for 4 seconds. Does it blow any smoke when it starts then dies?
