AFTER 6 WEEKS OF DRVING AROUND WITH THE HEATER ON I FINALY FOUND THE PROBLEM............. just above your left leg is a tiny little vent were the air con sucks a tiny amount of air though. well theres a small temp sensor sposed to be wired in behind it. the wires were hanging off mine. 2 sec job to reattach and the climate control worked perfect again. yay for me lol

hey, i'll have a look at that sensor 1st thing in the morning, i was playing with the car tonight. if i set the climate control to manual all fan speeds work and zones. if i set it for 18 degress ambient air blows out. if i set it for 18.5 upwards red hot air flows out. i tryed listening for the motor or taps. were are they exactly??? are the taps in behind the dash or the engine bay???? chris

Hey guys, im having trouble with the climate controll on my r34, even when its turned off and the fan isnt on, there seems to be alot of heat coming through around my feet mainly. Is there a common fault like the heater tap staying open just slightly???? Also if its set to 18' and no AC on it seems to have ambient temp air coming through but if its set on 19 degrees and up it seems to be on full and it defaults to the maximum fan speed. no matter what the ambient temp is the fan speed allways goes to full. its driving me completely insane, and in summer god knows how hott in the car it will be. is there any air speeed sensors or temp sensors that are knowen to fall out or fail????? did i mention its running lpg injection which is great but i dont beleive it is causing the problems because the water in and out for the gas converter is b4 the heater tap............ too my knoledge that is secondly. i have a switch to the right of the steering wheel, it has a pic of a big fan and a little fan and you can toggle between the 2. it looks to be an oem, but has no wires going in to the back of it. chris

what we do at work is weld on soft fencing wire on the end so that it gives a small lip and the clamp cant come back over it chris

ouch thats nasty mate, id prefer a little fire then 2 flat tires at once. yay my car goes to the auto sparky tommorow. cant wait to be able to drive to work again!!!!!!!! on a side note the other day on marshal rd in malaga a truck must have droped a box of nails. becuase there was like 8 cars in a row all pulled over with like 4 flat tires each, also with a guy walking up the street with a camcorder lol, sooo glad we didnt get 1. chris

oh wow never realised it was such a common problem. the car when i bought it was s basicly scraping the ground, but damn did it look good. since then the car has been lifted to legal so i spose its just been waiting for some thing to go wrong. any idea how much i should pay for the wiring loom? im just glad no 1 was hurt cars can be fixed my GF cant be.

Hey every body, i had a fun night last night. pulled up at the GF's and all of a sudden my reverse lights started coming on and off while the car wasnt running. then i turned around to see smoke and a glow coming out of the the drivers front wheel arche. i was then like ohhhh sh*t the cars on fire. spent the next 2 mins wrestaling with the earth wire trying to snap the little eyelet off the battery. by that point the starter motor had fired up and wouldnt stop trying to start the car luckily it was in neutral. eventualy got the fire out but not b4 all my wireing harness had been burnt to shreds and i think the starter might be wrecked too. although i think i got out of it preety cheap. i think iv put it down to the car bottoming out at some stage and chaffing the harness, becuase its directly were there used to be a small warn hole in the plastic guard on the inside. any 1 else had this happen to them b4???/ chris

personly i aint a fan of the sagaris but i would take a cerbera. my GF's dad has 61 TVR Grantura II. i want it soooo bad but i just cant afford to fix it.

scandyflick- "once again, VH41DE > 1UZFE" the 1 thing that keeps going through my head with the nissan v8's is sure there bigger and probly more potential they have next to zero after market support. the 1uz has multiple companys making forged pistons and rods, individule throttle body conversions, lots of ecu maps that are freely floating around the net, super charger kits, many diff bellhousing designs to mount nearly any gear box and soon to be a twin turbo kit. im not sure if the nissan v8 have the same amount of support, but if they do, yeah they sure would be an awsome choice.

you would deffinitly have to consider a 1uz-fe with supra 5 speed and indivule throttle body's. that would make 1 wild ride chris

personly id love to run a few experiments with a decent "gasresearch" setup. id love to money permitting, be able to go twin 510cfm carbs. last time i was looking the biggest gas injectors u could get were like 93cc which are equal to like 400cc petrol injectors. so unless u ran gas injection and richend it right up with say a 500cfm gas carb. i dunno its all theory atm. im still trying to get my mate to set up an account with gas research and there suppliers, which would enable access to all the prinz gas injection parts. chris

its also like 103 ron fuel and if setup and tuned correctly can run better and hell of alot cleaner. also ghosterider there are several soarer v8's in the eastern states that have dedicated gas setups and a few cars with 1uz conversions running gas too. sure there all custom but nothing is impossible. it all comes down to who u know and how cheap u can get the install done

hey guys this is probly in the wrong area but any way, i want to do a r32 gts or gts-t engine swap with a lexus 1uz-fe 4litre v8. i have seen it done to a s13 silvia so im sure it would fit. can some 1 please give me the dimensions of the engine bay. the weight of the standard rb20. i think this would shock some ppl pulling up to a gts with a v8 burble lol cheers guys

hey guys, i was hoping people could give me some specs on the r32 body. mainly the dimensions of the engine bay. can i also have the weight of an rb20. i would like to do a project of putting a lexus v8 in a r32 gts-t with the 5 speed box of course. has any 1 herd of any 1 doing this i tryed searching but only found 1 instance of putting a vq45 in a 33. they diddnt give much info on how they did it so yeah. cheers chris
