this comes in an ecu already. all you have to do is remove your kick panel, remove the 10mm bolt holding the loom into the ecu - pull the old ecu out, slot this one in. start up and limp it to the tuner. if you want to find a list of approved nistune dealers, go to their website www.nistune.com.au there are plenty more people with the software, just a matter of using google - i'm sure u can find chatter on some forums about places in your area. -

hey lil crash here is the thread from the original owner. I have just written off my series 2 Stagea (NEO, as such i beleive they will do ER34 as well). As such i removed the ECU fitted with the type 4 nistune board. This cost me 300 for the board, 100 to get it fitted and 130 for the ECU. Its tuned for a z32 air flow meter (also removed), a GCG hi flow )running only 1 bar), pod and 3 inch exhaust with a walbro fuel pump. I didnt get around to fitting bigger injectors, hence the low boost. After $700 for ECU and AFM which includes the plug. It was mostly road tuned, very safe A/F ratios using a tech edge WBo2 sensor. ECU is 23710 0v801, for a series 2 rs4s (manual obviously) you will need to speak to your tuner to see if it will run your injectors. my thinking would be yes. i've run turbo injectors (440c) off a n/a computer (250cc) before with a turbo on, just for the purpose of getting the car home. so long as i kept it off boost it was fine. sounds like you're having to do that anyway. $350 posted and it's a deal. i payed 350 plus postage, just want to get it moving. that price goes for anyone else interested. -

Chef, keep out of my thread. Your 50c plastic cap is in the mail. On the other hand, the $50 set of rubbish fiberglass backyard job eyelids that don't fit which you sold me are in the bin. If anyone shouldn't be trusted, its you pal. Lil crash, the injectors were 660cc iirc. Probably won't get you there, but you could take the nistune to them first and get them to put on a stock base map and use that to get your car in. -

What Have You Done To Your Stagea Lately?
SMOKEYV35 replied to Hanso's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Sold my beauty yesterday. Didn't take long once the new pics went up. Car sold itself in person. Car is going to Adelaide. New owner is a genuine bloke and will look after it I'm sure which is the most important thing! The only question now is - what next!? -
SOLD. Best of luck to new owner. Sad to see it go!
-
nah dont think pics will help. they're either too short, or their too short! only other thing i can think of is to check the type of lug nuts required. there are three different base types - flat, angled, and acorn. different wheels, esp aftermarket, have different requirements - so if for example you have flat based nuts currently, and the wheel requires angled nuts, they won't be seating properly and create the situation that the studs are too short. google for more info, but it should be self explanatory.

shouldn't have to.....are you using spacers???

if you take any car for a trade in, they are going to offer you the lowest value in the redbook straight up - you take a hit on the price for the convenience of a quick and clean changeover. my old man got offered 9k for his audi S-line FROM Audi when buying a new Audi. We sold it privately 3 weeks later for 18k. Remember you're allowed to haggle trade in value just as much as you can haggle new vehicle price. often it's a combination of the two to come out at the right price. As for the market for stageas - it's well and truly still there. But it is an enthusiast vehicle, and an unusual one at that - you can't expect a quick sale - you need to set a price that you're happy to let it go for and wait for a buyer to come to you. All my car's have been like that, and some of them have taken up to 12 months to sell, but that's the reality of owning something unique. Take's the right person to appreciate the value proposition. As for M35's vs C34 market, i think people buy an M35 for a different reason to a C34 so i don't think the market's are cannibalising eachother.. both are great cars, but for what i wanted from a car and what i wanted to do with the car the C34 was the natural choice. for other people, M35 is the natural choice. don't be disheartened. clean it up, throw it up for sale with lots of pics and info, and let the market do the rest. just be prepared to wait. worst case scenario, you sell it for 6k and you're ahead of where you would be if you take the trade!

Thanks mate. It certainly takes up a lot of my time and money to keep it in this condition. Ideally looking for s buyer who would do the same! Car had new windscreen fitted two weeks ago, and all seats and carpets professionally steam cleaned last weekend, because I'm a fussy prick!

just some new pics of the stag - have done a lot of work lately and really happy with the way it's looking now - very subtle, very clean, very classy. Don't know why i'm selling it - but just can't sit still when it comes to cars.
