  2. Different brands = different out comes id say.
  3. Yes RP71 (whatever) indicates non turbo rb20/rb25 box. RB25det box is a good 20kgs heavier and wider.
  4. I cut the small wastegate pipe off and put a 2inch screamer pipe on. Boost never creeped after that

  8. If only you did this thread when i had my HKS GT2835 ProS off disco, i could of took pics. I was so close to undoing the 3 or 4 grub screws to see what it looks like in there.

  11. I ended up getting the turbo rebuilt over here in Perth. Rear bearing race was 3/4 gone and both wheels just touched the housing. All good now

  16. Is that a good or bad thing? Also i noticed the oil from the oil line had a strong burnt smell to it. Im guessing there is a block in the feed somewhere.

  19. It does have light scoring on the comp cover, just weird that it's shit it self since i have babied it since i got it. Comp wheel doesn't look the best
  20. Car is a R33 GTS-T with a HKS GT2835 Pro S kit, built motor 270rwkw on about 1.2bar. I bought the car about 3/4 weeks ago and it has always had a bit of engine noise at idle. I passed it off as it has forged pistons and thought it was them. Motor has'nt used any oil since ive had it. Lately when i turn the car off it does'nt have that trade mark ball bearing turbo wind down, instead it has what sounds like crunchy bearings lol. Today as i just got it onto boost it made a scraping noise so i backed off. Then later in 3rd gave it half throttle and it could barely boost . Tried second and it was spooling ok but then that scrape noise again. Babied it home and now it's reasting.   21. Are you going off just your dyno graph or out on the street? I was looking at your previous dyno sheets and it looks like it ramps up quicker when you had lower power. Id say it's just a slower ramp rate on the dyno.
  22. I dont know why you guys are saying to block off the vac line to the bov to get fluutter. Doing so will make it open while on boost lol.
  23. How are the breather pipes plumbed?
