The second hand lights put in by "Gold Coast Panel Works" on the gold coast, looked like they were brand new. And I mean brand new when i picked it up. If you bought a new car they would stack up. quick question fellas, I have a 33 with new motor havnt driven it yet. Turbo back exhaust, front mount. hi flow cat. 10-12psi on digital boost controller. airflow meter. avo blow off valve off a sti imprezza. As i said i havnt driven it yet, will i need bigger fuel pump or reg? sorry to hijack thread. I am a new member and i am having trouble figuring out how to start my own

I personally own a r33 but my mate owns a 32. I think the 32 is more of a drivers car if modded well cause it has that chuckable lighter chasis like a s13. But a r33 is all round a more usable car as it has more room inside and isnt so laggy and slugish in low revs so it makes a better daily driver. I am a surfer so putting boards in a 33 is a bit easier then his 32, and no i wont listion to my other mates with 4wds and conform! i love my sports car. I know who gets hit up first on the wknd when we are going out!

Anyways, My R33 gtst has recently been fitted with a new rb25det 97 model motor. It has turbo back exhaust, front mount, k and n pod, boost to 12psi, dump and front pipe and a hi flow cat. KYB struts and hard coils and 235 reo40 tyres. The question is how far off staying level with a stock r33 or r32 gtr it is? the reason I am asking is if it is a fair way off, I have the money ill piss it off and by a gtr. So a bit of advice would be appreciated guys. what 400m time could i expect with these mods? high 13s? Thanks again, This site is great im learning a lot from it

blackr, is your exhaust turbo back and do you have dump and hi flow cat? How much boost? Ive got 3.5 the whole way through with dump and front pipe. Do you think I would be gettin close to 200kw on 10-12psi? or if anyone else can comment? It is a 96-97 model motor with low kms and a 150psi even over each cylinder compression

My r33 started making that same tapping noice which can be confused for a noisy tappet,lifter. I rung my dad which is a michanic and he said go get some oil it will be cool. Got 2 km down the road and she seized! Number five piston, Big end bearing. Block f**ked. Just managed to machine head enough to sell off, crank completely stuffed. Cooked my starter motor trying to start it! Big end bearing could have been end of story, But wise old dad said drive it! f**k

I was hoping I would get 20k for mine as it is pretty heavily modified. But ive seen 32 gtst with rb25 and heaps of work go for 14-15k! almost makes me want to ring up people selling their cars to cheap and tell them to bump the price up or else! By the way dont bother with the trading post. waste of time. Put a colouful nice looking add in every repco, auto bahn, etc you go past. Most of em have notice boards.
