Wheezy, Not having it fully tuned yet, results were pretty much as we expected its fairly responsive and flows plenty in the top end however I did port the manifold out to match the head and I also have 270 degree Cams. Cheers Cameron

Thats what I was thinking, I'll double check this with Haltech tomorrow just want to make sure as it seems when cranking to be popping weird as if the timing was all wrong. Also need to get the type of CAS and if its on the Rising or Falling edge etc, I miss my Adaptronic where you could jsut tell it the engine and away it went lol Cheers Cameron

Wheezy, You are correct with a BMI 80mm Throttle Body. Does anyone know what the firing angles for a rb20det are? I have them when I used a wasted spark setup but now I have the haltech I am not sure what the firing degress are. Cheers Cameron

Ok a little bit of an update, Finished setting up the Haltech e11v2 and installed finally the Oil Catch Can setup. Tried to turn it over today on what Haltech said should get it started as a Base Map not expecting it to fire and it didn't few nice Backfires and I decided to leave it at that If anyone has a Map for a Haltech e11v2 for a rb25 with 750cc injectors I would be very grateful if I could get a copy to see if I can get the car running before I book the dyno and the tuner. Anyway here is a quick Pic of the engine bay as it stands now.

I am not sure I understand there isn't anything that secures the timing gear by itself. The Balancer pushes up against it holding it in place. against the disk and the part of the crank that just extrudes fro mthe oil pump seal.

There should be a disk that goes between this timing belt cogs and the oil pump then another disk on the front between the cog and the Harmonic balancer.

I went TOMEI 270 9.25mm Cams on my RB24DET build.

Does anyone know where I can get -10 black braided line? doesn't have to be anything special it's just for the breather lines. I have found Pro Lite 350 Hose Has anyone had any dealings with this? Or know a good supplier as most prices I can find are around $60/Mtr

Hi, I did mine today, (1) Stick a screw driver in the larger tube fitting and put pressure on the fitting to rotate it at the same time put a little upward pressure on the screwdriver. (2) This should create a small gap under the fitting, I then used a small flat screwdriver in the gap and tapping it with a rubber ballet working my way around the fitting to lift it evenly (3) Use a larger screwdriver to lever the fitting up working your way around the fitting to lift it evenly until around 5mm proud of the cam cover then I was able to pull the fitting out by hand. It might be worth wrapping the end of the screwdriver in some sparkies tape to help prevent damage. It took me less than 5 minutes to remove both fittings, just take your time and care and no damage will be done. Cheers Cameron

Yea I was looking at making some similar but I have my piping going down through that area. I'm waiting to hear back from JNT Performance to see if they have one.

No real updates, been busy with work and other unexpected things. I have over christmas installed a new Haltech ECU to replace the Adaptronic, I have just finished wiring up all the sensors etc and all that is remaining is to make a alloy bracket for the map sensor. I also am trying to find a decent Catch can with -8 / -10 an fittings so I can plum in the breathers. Once I find a some spare weekends I'll stick it on a trailer and take it to the dyno to start fresh with the tune. Cheers Cameron

Have you checked the CAS? Make sure the Key in the end of the EX cam is still there.
